Chapter 15: Origins Part 1

Sabrina pov

I was the only one awake, reading my brother's journal. After reading all those entries I finally understood who he was. An innocent boy who wanted no more than for mom to care about him and died in those woods all those years ago. Right now I was reading the last entry Y/n wrote before his death

Journal Entry 37: Today mommy decided to bring me to her work, I'm so excited, although I don't know where we are going, but she said bring a hoodie. That's mom calling me, I'll bring the journal incase I want to write anything interesting. Write later!

I closed the journal. There were more pages but they were blank. I turned off my lamp and was about to sleep until I accidentally knocked over some of my things and the journal. I picked up my black light and went to turn it off but I noticed something

There was bright marks on the journal. I was confused until I realized that the black light can brighten up human fluids. I looked closer and saw that the marks looked like splattered blood stains

Sabrina: *Thoughts* If those are blood stains then...

I covered my mouth, tears were about to come out of my eyes as I visualized how Y/n could've died. I calmed down and picked up the journal by the cover making it open up. Then I saw something else. Writing

Sabrina: *Thoughts* What?

I put the journal on my lap and began reading the entry

Journal Entry 38: I don't know how, but I'm alive. I don't know where I am, I mean I'm in the forest, but I don't know which part. But I found another kid here. His name's Shay Goodwitch-

My eyes widened. Shay knew my brother?!

Sabrina: *Thoughts* What the hell?!

He gave me a pen since I forgot mine at home, but it's one of those cheap invisible ink pens that glow when you use a L.E.D. light on it. Right now we're trying to find his parents, maybe they can give me a ride, or take me with them, I don't mind. Gotta go now, I hear Grimm coming

I closed the journal once more. I couldn't believe what I just read. I fell back on my pillow

Sabrina: *Thoughts* Shay, you're going to give me the answers I need, one way or another

Time skip

It was lunch, I was sitting with the girls, Liam was serving detention for cussing in class. But I could care less right now

I was looking around the cafeteria looking for Shay. I needed those answers. He may be the only one who knows what happened to my brother, or better yet, know where he is

I saw him come into the cafeteria and get some food, then sat down on a table alone. I decided to make my move

Sabrina: Hey girls, I'll be right back

Carol: Alright

I walked towards Shay's table, I immediately sat down and got his attention

Shay: Sabrina? What are you-

Sabrina: I know

Shay: Know what?

I pulled out the journal and placed it on the table. I looked at him and saw that his face expression changed into nervousness. He then turned to me

Shay: Where did you get that?

Sabrina: That's not important, but what is important is that you knew my brother

Shay: ...I don't know what you're talking about

Sabrina: Bullshit, you know what I need to know
