Peter Parker's POV

Today was an awesome day, without being late to school, nailing my Spanish test, not being Flash's favourite of the day and getting through chemistry without getting caught for making web fluid.

Yay! Right? But, Mr. Walters just had to, HAD TO, make an announcement after school today.

*PING*

I look downwards at my phone. Happy's texting me.

HappyMan - hey kid, why aren't you out of school yet? Boss is getting worried.

SpiderKid - oh, a teacher is doing an announcement after school.

HappyMan - fine. text me when there's something wrong.

SpiderKid - sure.

"Mr. Parker!"

I looked up at Mr. Walters. Uh-oh. "Please don't text in the middle of my exciting announcement." I grumbled something like an apology and how I'd listen more. Flash snickered, pointing at me and whispering to his friends.

"Good. Class, I have good news. Really good news. I got us a tour for Friday!" Mr. Walters whooped. "Also, here's a permission slip, please have your parents/guardians sign it!"

All of us students uncertainly glanced at each other.

"Um, where are we going?" Sally Avril asks. "Um, didn't I just tell you?" Mr. Walters suddenly stops doing a victory dance. "Um, no?" She responds.

"Oh. We're going to Stark Tower!"

That made everyone sooooooooooooooo excited. Well, everyone BUT me. I internally groaned. I cannot have Mr. Stark embarrass me! Even if I am his personal intern.

Oh no.

I just remembered.

THE FUCKING AVENGERS ARE COMING OVER TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Clint and Sam will stop at NOTHING to embarrass me! I need to fake something on Friday.

Hmm, maybe sick? No, May would catch onto fake vomit and stuff. Maybe rip up the permission slip? Nope, Natasha will find the pieces immediately and tape them all together and get me into sooooooooo much trouble.

There's nothing I can do, well, except, go to the field trip. Shit!

"Dude?" I felt a nudge. I looked over to my right, and saw Ned looking at me, holding out a slip of paper.

"What?" I muttered. "Here's your permission sheet." He answered, passing me the slip. I moan, before stuffing it in my backpack.

"So, are you going?" New asks, fishing out his Stark Internship identification card (Mr. Stark yelled at him for hacking into the Spider-Man suit but then arranged for Ned to get an internship because his hacking skills had to be exceptional able to hack into Stark Tech) before flashing it to Happy.

Happy nodded, before ushering both of us into the car. His normal shorts and shirt and thongs and dark sunglasses hid his identity, knowing that I had a secret identity to care for.

"Kids, anything new?" Happy asked.

"We're going to Stark Tower!" Ned said excitedly. Then, as an afterthought, he added, "As a whole class."

Happy laughed, while turning into the Stark Tower underground parking. After a few minutes, he added,

"Hopefully Clint doesn't do anything horrid to poor Peter here."
