Author's Notes:

.) Yes, this is the longest cast list I've written so far.

.) Unlike the OT, where Jon was played by a different actor in each book as he grew up, just one actor will play him in the ST. I picked Chris Pratt after he was suggested to me. And I am aware that this casting choice will most likely lead to you readers joking about how, technically, Peter "Star-Lord" Quill is Han Solo's son.

.) I put Mark Hamill as Luke on this list because I plan to feature him in flashbacks. I mean, I'm not gonna tell you right now if Jon will go with Rey to find to Luke. You'll all have to wait until the end to find that out.

.) Speaking of Rey, she and Jon will NOT fall in love. They will become close, yes, but just as friends, which grows into something of a sibling dynamic. Jon will also act brotherly towards Finn and Poe as well. Regarding the relationship between Jon and Kylo, who actually are half-brothers, that's gonna be really interesting for me to write about.

.) Calista Amme is another OC. She will be Jon's love interest. I can't wait for you all to meet her. Here is some information about the woman I picked to play her. Danica McKellar is an actress, competed on a season of Dancing With the Stars, made some memorable appearances on the TV show Impractical Jokers and is the author of four bestselling math books called Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Loosing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail; Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who's Boss; Hot X: Algebra Exposed and Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape. But she's most famous for playing Winnie Cooper on the TV show The Wonder Years when she was a kid. (From 1988 to 1993.)

.) Han will still die in this book. Back when I first wrote A New Hope, I got a review saying not to kill Han when I did TFA. Well, my plan was always to have him die. I'm sorry if some of you find that upsetting, but that's the way it has to be. Everything I've written in the three previous books has been leading up to Han's death. And then the aftermath, from when it happens, and then continuing into The Last Jedi and Episode IX, will be about Jon mourning his father's death, coming to terms with Han being gone, and then working to honor his memory and legacy. If it's any consolation, though, in this book, from when Jon and Han are unexpectedly reunited, to THAT scene, there will be a lot of scenes of father-son banter, humorous, heart-felt and dramatic moments between them. Jon and Han's relationship has always been the core of The Jon Solo Chronicles. And TFA will be no different. But what makes this book unique is exploring all the things that have-and haven't-changed in their father-son bond now that Jon is an adult.

.) While I don't think he was credited, Bill Hader, of Saturday Night Live fame, did provide the voice of BB-8. And I will be translating his speech by having Jon understand him, something I never did with R2 in the OT.
