waves roughly crashed against the shoreline.
water filled her lungs. as she desperately clawed at the surface, more waves violently shoved her under the surface further. pressure built in her chest, her whole body burned from the inside out as though a wildfire lit inside of her organs. she knew she didn't have much time left. she already felt her organs shutting down due to lack of oxygen.
however that didn't stop her from at least trying to keep herself from dying a long and painful death. wrath filled the water as it began to become a tinted red that soon evolved into a blood like color. she thrashed around as her body told her to inhale, despite knowing it wasn't oxygen but freezing cold water. she harshly coughed out the toxic salt water that filled her body with pain. her eyes began to shut, she still put up a fight, alas her brain began to shut down.
"sooyoung..."
her eyes closed and like that, her lifeless corpse floated to the surface of the treacherous ocean she tried so hard to escape from.
