He had hit me multiple times.

With every hit I received I knew I had to fight back to save that girl.

She may not remember me, but I met her the day of my freshman orientation.

She helped me find all my classes. She doesn't remember me,

But I will always remember her. I owe her one.

I never imagined she'd be able to survive this beast.

How did she survive all these months with this man.

I did notice one thing,

She didn't have bruises, She didn't have wounds, It was as if he was protecting her.

I promised I'd save her,

even if I die, I will make sure she gets a way out of this manor.

I grabbed a piece of glass from the floor, I lifted my shirt up high enough to show my abdomen.

I slowly carved in the address of this manor, I held in the pain as I watched the blood trickle.

I covered my shirt with my black vest. Even If I die,

my corpse will be found, leading them straight here to the manor.

And finally Elia will be able to escape.

I heard footsteps below me, probably in the hall.

Silent humming of that man.

I didn't hear Elia with him, it made me nervous.

He couldn't have possibly killed her because of me.

She didn't deserve this life.

She deserved better.
