Case 45 became huge not only in Korea.

It was all over International news.

No matter what channel you had it in,

The newest murder.
The newest disappearance.

My fellow companion,
Eric had left long ago to help solve the case.
He was one of the best cops here in the U.S.

I sat on my couch as I watched the news about the case.

"Tadashi Iwazaki." I muttered.
"Seems it's been forever, about time you got caught. Brother."

I was glad to see he wouldn't be serving a lifelong sentence in prison.

"Ms. Iwazaki. Caught up on the news again?" My boss asked me as he dropped a file on my desk.

"Mhm. The culprit of case 45 got caught."

"Oh really? They going to punish him?"
He asked without even thinking if I was hurt by his insensitive remark.

"He's my brother Max." I looked him in the eyes. He lowered his cellphone.

"Ah. I'm so sorry." He Pat my shoulder. "But how come not even you knew?"

"To start with Max, it wasn't my case to handle." I pulled my hair out of my ponytail. "Second, my brother and I cut ties, well more like my foster mother did. after my mother was murdered."

Max nodded. "Right. I forgot."
I glanced at the screen one more time,
To see my younger brother on the screen.

He really had grown.
He was an adult now.
He was 24.
I was 26.

I smiled remembering the manor.
I was sitting on the rocking chair,
Doing embroidery with my mother as she hummed to us.
Tadashi was coloring with crayons in the chalk.
He would look up at me and smile. "Big sister! Look at this cat I drew."

Max pat my shoulder.

"I'm fine. I can continue." I lied thinking of him still.

"Well. Satomi, I think it's time your and Eric got back into business." Max started as he picked up the file he left on my desk and passed it to me.
