Crystal's P.O.V

Okay so today's my first day of high school an I can't be more freaked out. I'm going to try out for the lacrosse team, I love lacrosse an I hope to get a scholarship for it but that's something to worry about at a different time.

After the early morning practice on the lacrosse field, which I spent pretty secluded from the rest of the group. I see Bella get out of her moms car a yell out an call her name
"Bella!" As she comes to me as soon as possible

she asks "How's your anxiety going?"

I reply saying "it's bad but I have control" For those who don't know Beacon Hills is full of super natural beings an Bella an I are among those. We are werewolves, betas to be exact. Our parents were are werewolves also an were in the same pack so that's how we became best friends. Anyways Bella an I walk in to school together an go out separates till lunch, cause she's a junior. Ok so first things first go to your locker think when Bella leaves .

As I turn the corner a run straight into a boy an drop my binder an my history text book " I'm -"

He interrupts me an says " Are you okay?"

I say "yes" an finish apologizing for my clumsiness.

"I'm Liam an it looks like I'm in your history class" as he shows me he's also carrying a history text book. I look at him an smile notice his beautiful blue eyes while he returns a smile.

"Can I walk you to history?" He asked. I look down trying to hide my blushing an reply "That would be nice." We get to history an I sit to the right of him he gives me a smile an class begins.

I can't help but think about him the entire time. An find my eyes glance to him every now an he catches me an lets out a little chuckle when I turn away. I try to pay attention to the teacher but Liam passes me a note:

Wait for me after class ~ Liam

I quickly shove the note in my pocket an give him a nod when he looks over my way. There are 10 minutes left of class an it feels like forever. Finally the bell rings an I get my stuff together an wait for Liam next to the door.

He comes an says "You actually waited?"

I say " Yeah don't make me regret it."

We both laugh an he looks down at the ground an says " You wanna hang out after school"

"I have lacrosse tryouts" I sighed "

"Oh yeah those are today!?! I'm trying out too!" He says. I closed my locker. An he asks me "what class do you have next"

I sigh "math" I tell him to save me a seat a lunch an we go our separate ways for a little while.

It's lunch, finally! I meet up with Liam an we walked to the cafeteria. I see Bella waving me to come over to sit with her an a boy.

Liam asks if he can invite some of the kids he met.

"Yeah of course" I smiled We sit down an

I would ask who the boy Bella's sitting with but I already know the answer to it he Scott McCall like the only true alpha werewolf I'm Beacon Hills least I think. Liam introduces me to Mason, Garrett, an Violet. Violet an Garret are dating an it's kinda obvious by the way Garrett looks at her. An I introduce Liam to Bella an Scott. Scott knows about Bella an me as our packs have crossed paths before. Lunch was a lot of fun we all shared lots of laughs an all made some new friends. Bella doesn't know this but I've knows Scott for quite sometime I've known all of these people for quite some time.

Bella says "Crystal did you know Scott's captain of the lacrosse team?"

I say in a duh tone "Uh like everyone knows"

"I'm really excited for tryouts after school" Liam says eagerly. I could tell Scott was threatened by Liam but was not showing it.

Before lunch ends I ask Bella if she an Scott would like to hang out with Liam an I after school she of course says yes. I see Liam trough out the day an we talk as much as we can he always seems to make me smile. The school day is getting close to an end an I'm getting closer to lacrosse tryouts. YAY!!

Okay guys! So this is the most poorly written chapter out of the entire book so I really encourage you to read the rest of the book and the sequel.
