Chapter 3

That night, I got no sleep. I couldn't get Blaze's words out of my head. What will I not find out? It was constantly nagging me. The hardness of his tone made me realize how serious he was.

Yet, what was he so serious about?

He's never sounded so troubled about anything. His laid-back manor was thrown out the window during that moment in the office. But why? 

Also, how long had it been going on?

I swear, if he's been keeping this from me during our whole relationship, I will shove my foot so far up his ass-

My alarm clock sounded then. The shrill ringing almost made me jump out of my skin as I continued to get lost in my thoughts. 

Sighing, I slowly lifted myself out of bed. This was going to be a long day...

I quickly dressed in a puffy, sky-blue, ballerina skirt and a sky-blue v-neck to match. Curling my hair, I was interrupted by someone knocking on my door. 

I carefully set down the heated curler on the tile of the bathroom counter. Quickly making it to the door, I was greeted by one of the teenage wolves I recognized as Molly.

"Hi, Luna! Alpha is requesting your presence in his office," she said while grinning from here to Japan.

With a nod and a warm smile, I closed the door.

I was not looking forward to this but I had to face him. Not to mention the fact that I had to show him that he couldn't boss me around, that we were over, and that he had zero effect on me.

Slipping on a pair of blue flats, I opened the door of my sanctuary. Taking a deep breath, I walked out of the  warmth of my room and into the deep, dark, hallway.

"I wanted to talk to you," Blaze said from his spot behind his desk.

"What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" I asked as I took a seat across from him.

He looked like a mess with his slouching figure. His hair looked as if he had continuously ran his fingers through it. Not to mention the fact the he was massaging his temples as if he had a raging headache that he couldn't shake.

"I miss you. Please come home." he said, finally looking up at me.

In his eyes, I saw an overwhelming sadness. He looked utterly broken. I almost caved in and hopped right into his so comfortable and familiar embrace. Yet, I saw past his facade. I would never be enough for him. He would continue to sleep around and I just couldn't have my own mate.

"Liar," I said an stood up to tower over his figure. "Tell me something: Are you keeping something from me? Something that I should know?"

He looked up at me with surprised and a bit guilty eyes.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about..." he stuttered.

"I know you're hiding something from me," I said before walking to the large mahogany doors.

I was just about to leave when I decided to say one more thing:

"I will find out what your dirty little secret is."

"I want everything on our record!" I screamed at the man.

I was currently talking to the pack's accountant who was refusing to give me what I wanted. I decided that if I wanted to find out what Blaze was keeping from me,  I had to start from the beginning.

I was asking the accountant for all of the purchases on Blaze and I's credit card. He claimed that he didn't know if could give me the records. He should know better then to refuse the wishes of an Alpha Female.

"Now!" I screamed using my Luna tone, making him flinch and cower back behind his desk.

"Y-Yes, Luna!" he said in a rush as he looked through his files.

"H-Here it is, ma'am." he said, handing me a large book of papers.

The book was enormous with a leather cover. On the cover, was printed 'ALPHA' in large gold letters.

"Thank you," I said calmly before walking to my car.

Let's see what he was up to before we met...

I tracked back to his earlier days.

So far I found the same old teen-age boy items before I came across something that will make me never look at him the same way...

Porn.

Well, now that I think about it: I'm not surprised...

But then I came across something that actually meant something. He seemed to have purchased a lot from The Witchcraft & Wizardry store before we found out we were mates...

The Witchcraft & Wizardry store is an underground store that only supernatural creatures knew about. It had all of your essentail wizard and witch supplies.

"Well. Looks like I'm going to The Witchcraft & Wizardry store..."
