Hey guys!

It's Kendall :3

So. Soccer season's over and I'm about to start up gymnastics again, but that won't be for awhile so I should be able to update quite a bit now. :D

Anyways, this chapter is dedicated to AquaSirene. She made my new cover and for that I am extremely grateful. :)

Also, I'd like to explain the method of my madness when it came to selecting the woman to portray Stephanie. Well, I was looking up 'That Was Then and This is Now' by S.E. Hinton because I've read The Outsiders and I loved it. This year, I found out that there was a sequel. So, I decided to look it up on-line ad see where I could buy it. While typing in 'S.E.' in Google, my hand hit little mouse pad thingy-majig on my laptop. Pictures of S.E. Cupp was pulled up... Guess it was fate! Haha! So, apparently S.E. Cupp is a politician... Weird.

This chapter was 7 pages long on Word so I hope it suits your fancy.

Anyways, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the chapter.

I love y'all.(:

Clearing my throat awkwardly, I spoke.

"I don't remember asking for a live porno..."

They jumped apart like they'd been burned then. Samantha was red from her ears to her toes, which only worsened when Ricky licked his smirking lips and winked her way.

"Stop that!" she scolded him, playfully slapping him on the chest.

I felt a pang of jealously hit me hard in the chest. I would most likely never have that ever again. As much as Blaze did to me, I sort of missed him in a way. I missed his touch and how he would always praise me like I was a goddess sent to earth. Yet, I knew I could never return to him. What he did was wrong beyond words. Nothing can change that.

I guess I just missed being loved. If I ever found my real mate, things wouldn't be the same. I'm afraid of being hurt again. It's all because of Blaze! Had he not abducted me as a child, I'd never be in this mess! I would have been able to grow up with my amazing brothers and my beautiful parents. I guess things don't always work out the way you think they should...

Just then, Samantha jerked, almost looking like she was having a mini-spasm. I was about to ask what it was when she started speaking.

"Hurry. We have to go; they're coming."

That was all it took for Ricky to flash to the designated spot on the ground. The quickly knocked his tune on the area, looking up to make sure that we were safe.

"Okay, Lana. You have to go first. If the rogues come, we'll be able to fight them off while you transport to the castle," Ricky said, standing up and giving me a small shove towards the portal.

I was about to open my mouth to protest when he cut me off with a glare. Wow. I guess he really wasn't joking around this time...

Taking a large breath of the fresh forest air, I hesitantly stuck my foot in the cloud of mist gathering around the opening. Before I even had time to think about what was happening or what I was doing, I was sucked in.
