Loving You

Slowly Letting Go

I have composed my emotions

And I have come to firm decisions.

To get you out of my mind,

And escape the vision of someone blind.

I want to move on now,

And end the pain with a graceful bow.

To live life freely is my passion,

And to forget you somehow feels like a freeing sensation.

From this day and onwards,

I will no longer step backwards,

On expressing a thought and emotion

With all confidence and projection.

All the tears I cried,

I will replace with joy, love and pride.

I think of the time I wasted,

My love for you, I will pretend never existed.

With my friends and family by my side,

Here like angels to be my guide.

I will slowly let you go,

And wish you lasting happiness like how an endless river flows.
