When your eyes landed on me,
My heart was nothing but in glee.
So happy and delighted I could hug you carefree,
But then I realized where you plan to be.
Like waterfalls, tears started crashing down my cheeks rapidly,
At the sight of you pursuing another lady,
My heart dropped almost immediately.
I felt knives and forks stabbing my heart,
In my life, I thought this was the worst part.
It wasn't my place to feel jealousy,
But am I to blame?
When I'm just a human hoping to live out my fantasy.
