Morning Surprise

I groaned, sighing deeply before I took a large breath in and yawned. I rubbed at my eye with a closed fist before bringing it down and gently caressing the boy on top of me with an open palm. I massaged gentle circles about his back to wake him, and within a matter of minutes he began to stir.

" 'Oonie," he mumbled half asleep, struggling to wake himself up. I brought my empty hand up to his cheek, brushing the hair from his eyes. Craning my neck forward, I planted gentle kisses to his cheeks and forehead.

"Wake up Kookoo. I smell breakfast, and so I think Jiminie made us food."

Wait, Jiminie? Did that really just slip out of my mouth? I ignored the name I had unknowingly given the blond, and instead focused on the ravenette whose eyes opened. He peered up at me tiredly, doe eyes sleepy and trying to pull downward.

"Good morning baby," I cooed quietly before sitting upright and lying Kook down beside me. The boy moaned in disgust before flopping himself back onto my lap, strong arms wrapping around my thighs.

"Dun leave," he mumbled, voice hoarse with sleep. I chuckled and patted his head fondly. "I won't. Promise. But you need to wake up."

With a little more persuasion, and promises of extra cuddles tonight, I managed to get Jungkook to wake up. He was feeling smaller than usual, and I panicked at first at the thought of the boy being alone for the day.

But then an idea popped into my head.

"Baby, I'm gonna go see Jiminie. Get dressed and brush your hair for Yoonie. Fair?"

"Mhm." He nodded his head, yawning as he sat upright on the bed and stretched deeply. I placed a kiss to the tip of his nose before slipping off the bed and out of the bedroom.

I plodded down the hall, cracking my knuckles against my palms as I did so. I rounded the corner into the kitchen, which is where I found Jimin to be. He was reaching high into the cabinets to pull out plates, leaning onto his tip toes.

I chuckled and came up behind him, reaching over to bring the plates down for him. My hips collided with his bottom, and I shuddered at the feeling of our bodies slotting together perfectly.

Quickly I pulled the plates out, stepping back from behind Jimin. I shook my head to get rid of the color in my cheeks and left quickly for the dining room. I set up the plates, taking my time so I could even my breathing. After a few, long minutes, I came back into the kitchen to Jimin.

I watched for a moment as he finished cooking his last omelette, and I cleared my throat before leaning my elbow against the counter.

"Sorry about earlier," I said quietly, scratching at the back of my neck. Jimin chuckled, his cheeks a burning rose. He waved a hand to dismiss the topic as he brought out the platter of omelettes to the dining table. I followed suit, thinking to myself about how to ask my question.

Was this even appropriate to ask? We did just meet...

I drew in a deep breath and shuffled on my feet awkwardly, placing the weight to the balls of my feet.

"Hey Jimin? Do you think I could ask you something?"

The blond peered up, his mouth a small 'o'. He nodded his head before standing back up fully. "Sure. What's up?"

"Would you mind staying here with Kook today?" I twiddled my fingers together, feeling uncomfortable having asked such a favor of a newcomer. It was a relief to me when the boy melted into a smile and nodded once again.

"Of course I can. I don't have any classes today, and I don't exactly have a way back into my dorm either so-" He giggled softly, playing with some of his hair that fell in front of his eyes, "I wouldn't have anywhere to go to stay beside here anyway."

"Oh!" I grinned, placing a hand over my chest as I sighed in major relief. "Kook woke up extremely little today, and I just didn't want him being alone. He doesn't have classes either so, this worked out perfect!"

"Yes, it did!"

"Yoonie?" A small voice rang from down the hallway. I thanked Jimin before taking off down the hall and into our bedroom. Once I opened the bedroom door, I was met with Jungkook sitting on the floor, struggling to get into his clothing.

"Oh baby," I smiled, kneeling down to his height, "Does Koo need help?"

"P-Please Yoonie, help!" He whined, the shorts he was going to wear hung around his ankles upside down. I helped the boy up and out from the tangled clothing, before dressing him properly. I slipped a comfy sweater of mine onto his frame before helping him pull his shorts up. I tied a small knot with the draw strings to be certain they wouldn't fall off his hips.

"All ready?" I whispered lovingly, fixing his hair. He gave a happy hum before hopping up off the bed and running to the door. He opened it excitedly and took off down the hall. I turned off the lights and closed the bedroom door behind myself as I left.

When I came to the dining room, I was met with Jungkook hugging Jimin tightly. I slumped my shoulders in defeat and apologized to the blond boy before peeling my boyfriend off of him.

"When he's this little he's clingy. I'm sorry about that."

"No it's okay. I promise, it doesn't bother me." Jimin patted my shoulder reassuringly before pulling out a seat for Jungkook to take. The little obliged, sitting down and pulling his plate close to himself. I watched, intrigued as Jimin placed an omelette to his plate and cut it up for him.

Typically I would care for Jungkook all on my own, but Jimin seemed to be equally as equipped as I was. I sat across from the two just as I had the night prior, and took some food for myself. It was a total awe to see how responsive the little was with the blond, and it kept my nerves at bay knowing he was going to be in good hands.

"So, today I have to leave town for a record deal. So you two might be alone through tonight if the meeting runs long. Is that okay?"

I peered across the table at Jimin and Jungkook, feeling my chest grow heavy at the thought of having to leave them both for so long.

Them both?

My mind keeps wandering to Jimin...it's so odd. I brushed off the thought and began eating, thanking Jimin for the delicious breakfast.

The blond blossomed into a beautiful, warm smile, and it draped over his lips perfectly.

Wait.

Yoongi, stop it. He's a guest. Stop getting feelings for hi-

"Yoonie?" Jungkook's small voice broke my thoughts and I turned to face him, pursing my lips together.

"Yes baby?"

"Kookie gonna miss Yoonie."

"Yoonie is going to miss you too Kookie."
