Vanessa watched helplessly as Damien Darhk pushed the arrow into Laurel's chest, holding it there while she squirmed under his hand. Anger began to fill the girl's body consuming her with rage. Even though Darhk's magic was holding her in place she attempted to charge at him still not being able to move. The moment she was released Vanessa ran towards Laurel's side not knowing what to do next. Oliver then picked Laurel up and they rushed her to the hospital.
Vanessa woke up covered in sweat her chest heaving for air. She slowly started to regain her composure realizing she was in her apartment. Well Laurel's apartment. She slowly managed to get out of bed and walk towards the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of water. A single tear rolled down her cheek. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you." She whispered to herself. Vanessa wipes the tears away and went back to sleep. It had been months since the incident with Darhk. Months of nightmares. Months promising that Damien Darhk would pay for what he had done.
