Vanessa's p.o.v.
I had landed on the roof of a small building which seemed long abandoned. 'What is it with all these fucking abandoned buildings. For once can't it be a cute little farm house or something??' I thought to myself. I began scoping out the area until eventually I ended up in dimly lit labyrinth of boxes.
"Looking for me?" An eerily low voice came from behind.
"Malcom. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't missed out talks"
"Ah yes you and Tommy were always inseparable."
"What do you want?"
"Why I'm glad you asked!" He replied with much more enthusiasm. "You see I want something you have. Something that makes you....special."
"Oh? And what is that?"
"Your powers!" Before I could do anything there was a burning pain in my chest. The last this I could remember was a flash of green light before the dark.
Hey guys! Ngl I did give up on this story but now I'm back and I think I wanna wrap it up but also make it an unrushed ending. Sorry for the wait! And the short chapter. I'll be posting either later today or tmr!
