◆11◆ Another beginning

At the very early hours of the next morning, Dabi and Michiyo were waiting for their train to show up on the screen. 

"Michiyo-chan, do you really have to go?" Ichinose asked her, "This old man will feel lonely without you." 

"Don't worry, Father. We'll be back before you know it." She was positive about it that it really made Ichinose want to believe her return. However, that all shattered when he glanced over at Dabi. 

Ichinose wanted to keep her safe but he also knew there's no way he could win in a battle of Quirks against Dabi. It couldn't be helped that Dabi have his eyes on Michiyo and Michiyo growing attached to Dabi to the point of having romantic feelings. 

"Are you sure he is the one for you?" 

Michiyo looked at Dabi to see him having a nap. She was told to wake him up when it's 5 minutes before the train's arrival. She smiled because sat over there was the man who made her world whole with beauty once again. "Yes. I am happy with him." 

Ichinose smiled a little sadly; he truly wished she could live with him and just be a normal civilian, but if this was her chosen path, it couldn't be helped. 

When Ichinose held her hands, Michiyo had only realized how old and wrinkly his hands were. Yet, his hand was warm. It made her tear up knowing she will go to another place without coming back here. "I'm sorry..." 

"Don't say sorry, dear. You've chosen this path without regrets. I truly want you to stay, but what's the point of that if your heart is with that toasty bastard over there? What you can do is come home safely, okay?" 

"Hm..." She never met her grandparents before because they have left the world way before she was even born. "Father, I think if you'd be a good grandfather if we share the same blood." 

"I think that also." Ichinose looked up at the screen. Their train will arrive in 6 minutes. "Michiyo-chan, it's time to go." 

"Father..." 

"Hey, you better clean up those tears. I don't want that burnt up shit to think I made you cry. Just come home safely, okay, sweet pea?" 

Michiyo nodded and she wiped her tears away. She smiled at Ichinose as she promised to come back to his church when the adventure was over. 

Ichinose watched her wake Dabi up and drag him to his feet. Dabi still looked tired but she was there to take care of him so it's okay. 'Michiyo-chan, for the sake of that guy, you'll follow him even if the road ahead is full of thorns...you truly love him to the point you will be blind to the thorns. But if you shall ever wake up and see how sharp the thorns are, please come back to me alive! You will always have a home here.'

"Stop waving the photos around, it's making me sick just looking at it." The photo of a certain villain with many hands on him were making him sick, but the photo of the same villain without the hand on his face made him even sicker. 

He told Michiyo that he will be finding this so-called League of Villains since the organization was doing something Dabi believed in: Eradicating this facade everyone believed to be peace.

Michiyo looked at the photo without the hand on the face, "I think someone should tell him moisturizers and lip balm does exist." 

"..." Dabi had to turn away from her and look at the window; he needed to control the light shaking of his body because what she said actually tickled his funny bone. 

'He said he gets carsick easily. Poor guy...' But Michiyo thought he was only shaking because he was sick. "Dabi, try and get some sleep?" 

"What are we going to do if we miss the stop." Because he's a heavy sleeper, he worried if he will sleep through the stop they were supposed to get off at.
