◆15◆ The hopeful look in her eyes

The two of them were pretty similar and different in a strange way; they have opposite colored hair and eyes; their Quirks were very similar to one another, and their will to fight one another were equally unbreakable. However, the only difference that set them apart was the reason why they're fighting. 

Michiyo's fighting to protect Dabi from the light of the heroes who were in the way of his goals whereas Kirishima was fighting to protect Michiyo from the darkness of the villainous world. Michiyo wanted to protect Dabi because he did the same for her, she wanted to protect her small piece of happiness, her only source of light in the world. Kirishima wanted to protect Michiyo from the darkness of the world, he had seen many different versions of this world where she's always on the side of the villains...he wanted to break that chain while she's still reachable. They both have different reasons to fight one another, but the spirit to not yield to the other was very real. 

Michiyo's Quirk allowed her to create diamonds and clad herself with it; her favorite thing to do with her Quirk was to conjure a lance out of diamonds and use it as her main weapon. She liked the sound of her lance hitting other people's skull, the sound of the skull-breaking impact left a nice sound to her ears. 

However, Kirishima was able to withstand her attack head on and take it like a man without falling. He grabbed the front of her dress and he flipped her over to slam her onto her back. Michiyo was unhurt because she clad her back with diamonds, she made diamond spikes protrude out of her in an attempt to pierce him but it was impossible since his own Quirk allowed him to protect himself. 

Since their Quirks were far too similar, she couldn't see herself winning so she tried to escape. She broke down the wall of the building next to her and she tried to escape right after launching her lance at him. Kirishima broke her lance with his fist and he ran after her right after the shattering, not allowing her the chance to escape. 

Kirishima entered the empty book store to see no one but himself. The CCTV camera was destroyed by Michiyo already. 

"Michiyo...!" Kirishima came out of the hole Michiyo had made to escape. He found her running down the alley way. 'She created a new escape route to trick me and turned herself into diamond dust to escape!' "Michiyo, stop!" 

Michiyo continued to run away and ignored him.

"You can still turn back!" 

Michiyo stopped all of a sudden and she fell to her knees. 

"Michiyo?!" The first thing he did was check if she was injured. "Michiyo, are you oka-" He started to feel like he's choking because he had swallowed the diamond particles that lingered in the air as dust. The inside of his throat felt like it was being clawed at, he couldn't speak properly and he could feel the inside of his throat slowly bleeding because of the cuts. 

Michiyo smirked when he fell onto his hands and knees. She took advantage of his kindness and she stood up, perfectly uninjured. "You shouldn't have followed me. Our Quirks are similar, but mine is stronger at the end of the day. She then conjured a lance out of diamonds again. She pointed the blade against his throat, "Any last words?" 

He looked at her blue eyes and he remembered a distant past that belonged to him but at the same time did not belong to him...

Her white hair flowed in the night of the wind. She was sat on top of a huge rock, looking at the full moon. The ears on her head twitched and she looked over her shoulder, "Eijirou, are you annoyed because I am doing bad things?"
