As many of you know, today is remembrance day. (or whatever other countries call it)

So today, I'm going to talk about people who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the American Revolution.

The men who never made it home.

A moment of silence please

Over 4,000 died in battle. That's not including all those who died from sickness mainly caused by poor living conditions (For example, Valley Forge)

But I'll be only talking about two today.

Nathan Hale

He was one of the first American spies. When George Washington asked for someone to go behind British lines and gather intelligence, Nathan volunteered.

He was eventually caught. He was carrying several incriminating documents and because of this, General Howe ordered for his execution.
He was 21 when he was hanged.

"I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country"
