Now that I think about it, it probably wasn't even that hard. Washington and Franklin were older, Burr took care of Hamilton and Adams and Jefferson took their friendly competition to the grave. There might be another Founding Father but I forgot who... It might be Jay...

Speaking of Jefferson and Adams friendly competition, its actually hilarious. They would compare how many grandchildren and great grandchildren they had. They would see how far they could walk or ride horseback before, ya know... They're old.

Hell, Adams pitied Madison because he had no children! "[Children] have cost us grief, anxiety, often vexation and some times humiliation; yet it has been cheering to have them about us; and I verily believe they have contributed largely to keeping us alive."

Madison probably enjoyed outliving Adams.
