While in my room at 10:30PM I sit awake blasting Lil Peep, for some reason I just can't sleep these days. I wonder how the rest of the world does it, just lays down in bed and goes to sleep in five minutes, nope not me. My best friend Sam is in South Africa until Sunday and it's only Tuesday, so I'm not doing very well. When Sam leaves the only people left to hang out with are jake and Brennen, not that it's a bad thing, but sometimes I just want Sam. As I blow my eardrums out I hear my door being knocked on, I get up and open it to see Brennen. "Yo what's up bro." He says, I shrug. "Why are you here so late?" I ask, he walks into my room and sits on the couch. "Because we're going out." He says, I furrow my eyebrows. "The only place I'm going out to is the bathroom, not a bar." I say, he rolls his eyes. "You've been so depressed and in your feels, I'm tryna lighten you up a little dude." He says, I shake my head. "I wanna stay home, maybe another day." I say, he gets up. "Ugh..fiiiiine." He says, he leaves. I lay back down in bed and turn up my music again, my phone goes off.

I turn it down and look at the ceiling, I stare at the fan blades circling around repeatedly, I roll onto my side and go on my phone, I text Sam.
