You worked at a diner in town with your uncle.
When you put the keys back in your pocket after getting in you saw a young child.
At first you couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl but when you got closer it was clear she was a girl.
Not wanting to scare them you walked over slowly with your hands up.
"Hey" you said cheerfully, "why are you back here?"
Once you said that she ran.
"Hey!" You ran after her a different way and cut her off.
She ran into you and fell to the ground.
You put your hands on her upper arms and kneeled I'm front of her.
"Shh Shh sh, I'm not going to hurt you"
She just looked at you wide eyed.
"What's your name?"
You got no response.
"Should I take you to the police?"
When you said that she tried to jerk her arms away and she looked terrified.
"Well why don'tI take you home until you can talk to me ok?"
She nodded.
You wrote your uncle a note telling him that something had come up.
