Bruce's Pov

I glanced at Tony.

He had been pacing around the living room with his phone in his hand ever since he woke up.

And that was 4 hours ago.

" Come on Tony, let's eat breakfast and go get coffee, they'll text us when they are ready to meet" I persuaded him as he sighed.

" Okay..."

Alex's Pov

It was very enjoyable in this cafe, though that was until they walked in with their broken grammars and vocalizations.

I'm pretty sure that some of the customers winced a bit.

" *dramatic sigh* LA was a little okay but Paris is gooder" Alexandra said, walking towards an empty seat with her 2 underlings - who were praising her for being 'so fluent' at speaking english.

She had a smug face as she walked pass us, as if her grammar was spot on. And I swear that it is very VERY far from spot on, that I cringed a bit when she talked.

" Uh Alexa?" I spoke up as she stopped on her tracks, turning around to face our table with a disgusted look on her face.

" What?!" She spat.

" Um... May I help and correct your sentence?" I asked.

Her face was showing her disbelief " Huh?! Well excuse me, My grammar are correct" She stated, folding her arms.

I shook my head " Nope, not really, it was supposed to be ' LA is pretty okay but I like Paris better'" You said , emphasizing the word 'better'.

" And you also made a mistake on 'are' when it was supposed to be in past tense"

She just stood there for a while before letting out a 'hmph' and walked away with any other comments, looks like I won this round.

3rd Person's Pov

Tony parked his car in front of a cafe that was recommended by Bruce, bringing a pack of hungry Heroes with him, already prepared to call security when they got blocked by their fans.

" At last..." Clint groaned from the back seat as his stomach growled for the hundredth time that morning.

They got out of the car and went into the cafe, luckily, without any hindrances... Probably because it was too early in the morning for anyone to approach them.

Although they did get some gasps of surprise when they went through the door, they just ignored them and went towards an empty table, large enough for them, due to their hunger.

There was some arguments happening in the kitchen before a waitress, who won the said argument, walked up to them, took their orders and went back, swaying her hips, in hope that some of them would take interest at her.

Alex, who was sitting at a table near them, raised an eyebrow when she saw her 3 close friends pointing frantically at the new customers with wide eyes, and whispering in a yelling manner " Oh my God!! It's them! It's them! I can't believe it!"

Alex raised an eyebrow, looked at the new customers and look back at them " Who's them?" She asked with her normal volume, catching some attentions from the other customers, who looked at her in disbelief.

" Are you serious?!" A customer near her asked in the same manner as her friends, as if not daring to ruin the mysterious customers' day.

She gave the random person an a 'my bad' look and shrugged " Sorry..."

Then her friends started to remind her of who they are and bumped her head a little for not remembering the people that she had drawn.

Unknowingly, she got some attentions from some of the celebrity, who looked at her with an interested look.

" Yeah yeah... Sorry for not knowing who they are..." She said nonchalantly before turning towards the group and saw a familiar man, wearing leather " So.... he's the one that saved your life, eh?" She asked the girl beside her, gaining a blush from the girl.

She laughed at her friend's behaviour towards her idol crush.

Meanwhile there was also three other scholars near her age in the same cafe, quickly taking pictures of the famous people and posting it on all of their social medias.

They all had finished their breakfasts but none of them made a move to go to the register, leaving Alex to make the move.

" Come on, we need to get going..." Alex said, standing up and walked towards the register while also passing the famous people, not sparing a glance at them.

Normally, they would think that she was just another fan that didn't have the courage to even look at them but her posture was too laid back for that and compared to her other friends that followed her gesture, whose posture were a bit rigid and tense when they walked pass them, she looked like she didn't even had an interest in them.

And that caught their attentions.

They secretly watched the girl to see if she was acting, though she still didn't spared a glance at them, she just laughed at her friends who blushed at embarrassment while telling her to shut up.

They kept their gazes until the group went through the door.

" Well that was interesting~~" Alex teased walking pass the glass wall of the cafe, still laughing, ignoring the 6 stares on her.

Jessica attempted to push her, asking her to hurry, key word: attempted.

It was pretty uneffective since Alex was stronger than her but it was very effective when the twins joined in as they walked away from the cafe, hurriedly.

I thought that I would publish this chapter alot later...

But turns out that I finished this one faster than I expected 😂😂
