Part 15

Riley POV:

Aw my head hurts. I'm alive though. I just don't wanna open my eyes. What is in front of me right now? Then I heard a small snore. I finally opened my eyes to familiarise myself with my surroundings. And saw Andrew on the couch snoring. I almost laughed he looked like a pig. I feel really painful, everywhere. It was morning. Maybe 7am or 8am? It looked pretty bright outside the window of her room. Then a few minutes later of staring at the ceiling, Andrew woke up. I decided to startle him.

Riley: AHHHH!

And then Andrew fell off the couch with a loud thump. I started laughing.

Andrew: Yah!

Andrew walked over to me, and touched my forehead, Why's he touching my forehead it's not like im sick?! Then sat on the chair next to me.

Riley: Hey, Stop touching me! Im not sick!

Andrew: You have so much energy from just waking up....

Riley: How long have I been here?

Andrew: Few days. Jamal already got discharged....

Riley: Oh...

Then Riley noticed one of his eyes we're swelling up. She started laughing again, this was the first time he's seen Andrew out of home, looking like a mess, rather than his "handsome" looks. He still looks tired and his voice was stiff.

Andrew: Why are you laughing now?

Riley: You look different....

Andrew: Well this is because you made me think you we're dead! I cried every night waiting for you to wake up! I thought you weren't going to! It's been days!

Riley: awww! You cared!

Andrew: Baby sis!

Riley: Sorry....

I laughed again.

Andrew: Just have some rest, I'll go tell the doctor you have woken up.

I nodded. I stopped him 2 steps in his tracks.

Riley: WAIT!

Andrew: What?

Riley: You know.... Nevermind.

And Andrew continued walking. He looked really tired. But Riley liked the feeling that people actually cared about her. She felt like she made the right decision to listen to her mother and take a second chance to live. Just Jamal, "aish!! How am I supposed to approach him now?! Why was he even here?! Doesn't he have a girlfriend?! HE SHOULDN'T CARE ABOUT ME?!!!" she screamed out, and messed her hair up. Then Andrew walked into the room.

Andrew: Your being discharged tomorrow, your still living with Mr.Mabayo ok?

Riley's eyes darkened. WHY?! SHOULDN'T HE HAVE LEARNED FRON THE FIRST TIME HE LEFT HER ALONE?!

Riley: WHY?!

Andrew: Well your alive... That's good. So Your fine now.

Andrew shrugged and smiled. He then turned around, sat on the couch, and started watching something on his phone. And Riley crossed her arms. And hissed at Andrew.

Riley: You careless bum... (She mumbled)

The next day: Discharged:

Aslay: Where's your brother?

Riley: He went back to his girlfriend's house already. Apparently she's more important than his baby sister.

Riley hissed.
