Old readers! I wanted to let you know that starting from this chapter, a few characters have been changed out for others (Due to certain old members of TVXQ. TVXQ has been replaced by A.C.E) I apologize if anyone is offended, however, as a reminder, it is my story. Thank you!

_______________

Rogue awoke in his room, his back aching with every move he made. His breathing was shallow when he opened his eyes and noticed Fortis next to him. Tears were in his eyes as his hand clutched onto Rogue's.

"Hey," Rogue softly said through dry lips.

Fortis quickly moved onto his knees and squeezed his hand tightly. "I'm so sorry, Rogue. I tried to stop them from taking you, but it didn't work."

A small smile pulled at Rogue's face as he struggled to look at Fortis who was still crying. "It's not your fault."

Shaking his head, he said, "It doesn't matter who is at fault, I could have done something."

"If you did anything you would have ended up with punishment far worse than the tests' they do on us."

Fortis grew silent as his eyes moved to Rogue's back. His hand slowly rose, his fingertips touching the skin around the stitches that lined his back. Dropping his head, he broke into another surge of cries.

"Will you shut up!" A voice called from the next room over. "I'm trying to sleep here!"

Fortis shot an angry look at the wall. Every part of him wanted to get up and go into the next room to beat the shit out of the other mutant, but when he looked back at Rogue, he couldn't find the courage to leave him. "Are you thirsty?"

Rogue slightly shook his head. "Just tired."

In the next room, Split sat on his bed with his head resting against the wall. He had heard what the doctors had done to Rogue, but he didn't care. He deserved it. He thought as he sat with his eyes closed.

Two days ago, Rogue had egged him on and caused him to transform into his less likable personality. Since then he'd been angrily pacing in his room, unable to leave because the people in charge didn't want him mixing with the others.

He thought it was bullshit. It wasn't his fault that he had been pushed into transforming. His eyes shot open as he came to the realization that Rogue had been punished for what he did. With a smug look on his face he let his back slap against the blanket that was wrapped around his bed. His hands rested on his stomach as he stared at the ceiling.

Using his ability, he let a movie play out on the white of the ceiling. His mind couldn't recall what movie it was, but he had played it on repeat hundreds of time. A girl had fallen for a man who was paralyzed. She loved him unconditionally, regardless of his terrible personality. That was what Split had hoped for one day. Someone that would love him unconditionally. Even his multiple personalities.

As he continued to watch the movie he projected, he couldn't help but feel the air change. Something was happening. Something in the back of his mind was telling him he needed to get out. He needed to escape. He needed to.

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION

"Are we going to ignore the fact that Deadpool over there is hanging upside from the ceiling?" Sehyoon asked Byeongkwan who was trying to concentrate on the books he had been given.

I'm trying to study, he thought, letting Sehyoon read his mind. However, even though he was trying to study, he couldn't help but wonder what Yuchan looked like hanging from the ceiling. Instead of looking up with his head, he looked up with his eyes and saw Yuchan hanging from one of the pillars in the middle of the ceiling.
