End Game Explained

So let me explain the "End Game" chapter in Infinity Monsters...

I know it took me forever to publish that chapter so I understand that many of you forgot what happened in the previous chapters.

Okay so in the chapters "The Fearless" and "Gods & Monsters" everyone was trying to get Black Swan's explosive away from the Wakandan city and deactivate it because the bomb was strong enough to destroy a planet. This idea came from the comics, I think it was the "Secret Wars" or "Everything dies" storyline. I could just google it right now but I'm too lazy to do it🤷‍♀️ but Black Swan had an explosive that could destroy an entire planet in the comics to stop multiple earths from crashing into each other

So Merly decided to use that bomb against Thanos, but since Thanos knew exactly the power of that bomb, he used the space stone to try and teleport it away to some abandoned planet but in doing so, the bomb interfered with his thoughts and the stones which lead to him accidentally teleporting himself and Merly along with already exploding bomb.

I didn't mention a specific name for the planet on where they landed at. At first I thought about doing it on Titan's moon or a nearby planet so that Tony and the Guardians could see them fight but it made no sense...cause how are you gonna see two people fight from another planet?.....makes no sense.

I did think about writing it on a planet in our solar system but I was like nah...I love our planets too much to destroy them.

So anyways, Thanos and Merly fight on earth twice, and once on that abandoned planet.

She was able to fight him longer than the rest of the Avengers and Guradians because she was using cosmic energy (kind of like the whole Binary thing with Captain Marvel) and she was using dark magic (like Thor's powers) because she is part Asgardian and was worthy of Mjolnir at one point. So she's  compatible to fight Thanos hand-to-hand. He obviously holds back with the stones cause he could easily end homegirl with a snap💅

Now...you may also be confused as to why Merly got so angry at Thanos when he said she had lost everything "all those years ago" as you can tell, he wasn't exactly entirely talking about Pietro dying. I will explain this in the prequel, which I am currently working on. And clearly no one else seems to know about this secret.... 🤐 fyi...it's gonna be sad......just remember her dream when she got exposed to the Terrigen mist...what was one recurring thing in them????😶🤐 think

Another thing that might have confused the fuck out of you would probably be that everyone kept saying that they had no idea how Merly was so powerful and there was something else at play. Well...you know Lady Death was rooting for Merly....and Lady Death often gambles people's lives with celestial beings like the Grandmaster or the Collector (in the comics)

Remember back in Age of Ultron when Thor said someone was making pawns out of them...and how Merly had been in contact with two (now 3) infinity stones...🍵
