I was up on stage my palms were sweating as I held the microphone. Today was the day where I perform in front of around 100 people. I was going to dance and sing to a english song called Sue Me by Sabrina Carpenter. 

The music started playing, I sang the first line of the song.

I kept singing, instantly forgetting my nerves. Singing was something that helped me get over heartbreak. Dancing helped me forget where I was.

By the time I had finished the song. Everyone applauded as I bowed. When I got backstage. A man walked up to me. 

"You're Kim Areum right?" He asked.

"Yes sir." I replied shocked as I realised who he was.

"Do you speak Korean by any chance?" He asked again.
"Yes, I'm actually korean but I was born in LA." I replied 

"Oh well I'm Mr Park, I'm from a company called Pledis. I came out here today to look for some people to audition to become members of a few groups. I was wondering if you would consider auditioning. I thought you did a wonderful job out there. Here's my card, call me before the 30th and we can fly you out to Korea to auditon." 

"I hope you really do agree, you were one of the best." He winked his eyes glistening brightly. I blushed and thanked him. Too in shock to even remember to go back outside to my parents.
