'Alpha Chris POV'

I make my way to the front door, my wolf is pacing back and forth in my mind.

(Maybe they got the wrong address, this doesn't really prove anything.) Liza tries to make my think logically.

(DOESN'T PROVE ANYTHING?!? Liza, are you trying to make me angrier? It's HER, who else could it be. YOU TOO were about to rip someone's throat out, not a few seconds ago. What's up with you)

(You are right...I don't know, lately, am not focusing on anything...)

(THEN I WILL FOCUS FOR YOU. Just pray that is not here for now.)

I get inside the car, slam the door and drive to the address my Betas showed me.

It can't be here, now can it?

I normally forgive people easily but not this, betrayal is the one thing that crosses me.

'Time skip'

I get off the car furious. I pass a number of people as I am now officially in another's pack territory. The pack's main doors open and am greeted with security.

''Alpha Chris?! What a surprise are you here for your parents?''

''They won't be for long if what am suspecting is true. Tell them to let me in, it's urgent.''

''Of course.''

'Time skip'

'You may come in'

'Third person's POV'

''MOM WAS IT YOU?'' the meeting door opens forcefully

All eyes turn to the source of the sound, Alpha Chris.

''Alpha Chris? What is the problem? 'asks his daughter Alpha Mason

''WAS IT YOU MOTHER? WAS IT YOU?'' Alpha Chris ignores his question

''What are you talking about honey?'' asks the mother, Alpha Emma calmly

''I will ask you one more time. Did.you.poison.my.pack?'' she grids her teeth in a poor attempt to keep her anger at bay.

''I don't care HOW or WHY. Just was it you?'' asked once again Alpha Chris completely ignoring everyone else.

The power and authority were more than evident in her voice, but she did not let her wolf command the answer out of her mother. She wanted her to say the truth without force.

''Love why would-'' the mother gets cut off before she gets to finish by Alpha's Chris growl. Making it known that Alpha Chris wasn't enjoying the delay on her question.

''No. But I was the one who bought that pot.'' explains with not much emotion in her voice, making it harder to determinate if she is lying or not.

Alpha Chris just stands there.

Finally, the father stands up ''Alpha Chris -'' he is stopped as well.

''Go on tell. What else.''

the father tries to interfere but with no success.

''I packaged it and sent it to you. The reason? I just thought it looked nice and like any normal mother, I thought it would make a good gift for your kitchen. Since you rarely ever buy anything new except for equipment, I took the initiative and bought you something myself. I don't think you can blame me for that, now can you?''

Alpha Chris showed no emotion, but she was confused and irritated inside.

''About the poisoning... we learned from the beta of Alpha's David's pack. We went a little while ago there for a deal we made and when we asked for the Alpha they told us what happened.''

Alpha Chris still stayed silent.

''What else do you need, to believe your own mother 'Alpha Chris' ?'' asked the father

''Nothing. I already made my choice.'' Finally spoke Alpha Chris

''What is that supposed to mean?'' asked the father

''No packages from anyone will be allowed inside my pack from now on. Whoever wants to send me anything will have to send a representative or come find me themselves. End of story. Have a good day.''

The father stands up to protest but Alpha Chris leaves ignoring his pleats.

The mother stays stoic.

In another pack not far away...

''GRRrr..'' a low growl was heard

''Alpha?'' asked Matt his Alpha

''Alpha are you alright? '' asked Alec

''Am fine... not my wolf though. It has been unable to focus and is randomly getting angry. Today it feels mostly frustrating and annoyed for some reason''

''Are you annoyed and frustrated?''

''NO. That's what makes it confusing. It's not me. Am going crazy.''
