Gangnam, Seoul

My first day in the office.

I appreciated all their warm greetings and acceptances.

Director Figama and Elaine are my both colleagues from HQ, three of us were transferred here. Both of them have started working already since last week.

Director Figama will be the head of Google Asia and Elaine will be supervising Accounts Department.

I will be leading Financial Planning & Analysis Department. A newly created department by HQ, catering our Google regional offices in Asia.

Im a bit pressured but Steve assured me that he will be assisting me throughout. Anyhow, I will still be reporting to him.

Unnie Kay, head of Administration department, introduce Emma to me.

She will be my secretary.

Emma is very warm, had a positive aura and seems reliable. I feel a good vibe to her already.

I told Director Figama that I will hire staffs after my country visits next month.

I need to have a thorough studies and analysis first.

My day went well.

I decided to have a night walk and go to Gwangjang market.

I miss Korean streetfoods.

I enjoyed the night and ended the day with a smile and positive hopes for tomorrow.

Emma and I are busy coordinating with all the Regional coordinators, heads and staffs.

Non-stop video meetings with them.
