~Danny's POV~

the next day I smile to myself walking down the hall I knew what song I wanted to sing so right now I needed to find Sam I see him talking to Finn I run over "Sam I need your help with something" I tell him he turns to me "ok what's up?" he asks "I know what song I want to sing for Mr. Shu and I want you to help me" I tell him he nods "im up for that" he says and smiles "see you in the glee room" I tell him then and keep walking I see Rachel "hello" I greet she smiles "you seem happy" she says I nod "that I am Sebastian helped me to pick what song im planning to sing" I tell her she smiles "your going to sing?" she asks happily when theses classes came around I never really took part unless it was in a group since I hated being in the spotlight but with Sebastien in my life I just want to burst out of this little bubble iv been trapped in for so long "that I am Berry and I feel great about it" I tell her she smiles "wow he really made a big effect on you I really enjoy seeing you in love" she tells me I smile "well I don't plan to fall out of it so lets get to class" I tell her and grab her hand pulling her along for the ride after my classes I head to glee where I sit by Sam and tell him the song I was planning on doing he nodded happy with the choice but before I go Rachel gets up first and takes a seat on a stool with some of the band behind her Mr. Shu tells her to go a head and she does  

as she sings I smile it was beautiful I see its directed towards Finn I glace around and see Sam look at Mercedes, Kurt to Blaine, Brit to Santana, Tina to Mike and right now I grip my phone and text Seb just a simple 'I love you' nothing more nothing less when she finishes "Nice. You know, I just wanted to say that I thought that you blew that song out of the water and totally nailed the assignment" Santana says shocking me "Oh, no, wait, wait a second. Was the assignment wasn't Make everything about Rachel Berry and force everyone to watch was it? she asks ok that's better I smile at her "down girl" I tease she rolls her eyes and smiles at me "That was beautiful, Rachel" Mr. Shu tells Rachel who smiles at sits down "So, Mr. Shu, what do you think? We've given you a whole bevy of songs to choose from, from upbeat and awesome to a little overwrought for my taste" Artie tells him he goes to answer when I put my hand up "yes Danny?" Mr. Shu asks me "before you decide I also have a song" I tell him this shocks everyone "you do?" Santana asks I nod "come on up then" he adds happy that i was taking part without being forced to I nod and stand up with Sam I pass my phone to Santana "could you record me?" I ask she nods and takes my phone I sit down and Sam grabs a guitar and sits on a stool by me I take a deep breath and begin to sing

Danny: Heart Beats fast, Colors and promises, How to be brave? How can I love when I'm afraid to fall But watching you stand alone? All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

*I sing and look at everyone who looks shocked that I agreed to do this*

Danny: One step closer I have died everyday waiting for you Darling don't be afraid I have loved you For a thousand years I'll love you for a thousand more

*I see Mr. Shu smile and me and nods for me to go on*

Danny: Time stands still Beauty in all she is I will be brave I will not let anything take away What's standing in front of me Every breath Every hour has come to this One step closer

*I turn to face Santana singing towards my camera*
