Cheating best friend

I walk into the club room only to be met with "It was written for Diana Ross" Mercedes argues with Rachel yet again "No, Mercedes, you are wrong, okay? The Bodyguard was originally written for Barbra Streisand" Rachel argues back I sigh "Rachel sweetie Mercedes is right on this one well it was for Diana Ross and Steve McQueen but still" I say and take my seat between them so they dont fight "thank you" Mercedes says back happily "I've been doing some research to prepare for this week's lesson..." Mr Shu says and wrights 'Whitney' on the board I smile this I could work with "Oh, my God, yes. It's about time we did a Whitney tribute!" Rachel says fangirling "Are we sure that's appropriate?" Sam asks I turn to face him "bold move" I mutter to him as Mercedes turns glearing at him "You did not just ask that" she snaps "I just mean, didn't Whitney kind of have a lot of problems?" Sam asks worried "She had a hard life, Sam. And?" she snaps back once again I turn back not getting involved with that one "Look, this week isn't about passing judgment on Whitney. It's about celebrating her legacy, honoring her memory, her accomplishments" Mr Shu says as Kurt jumps in "Which I will happily list for you" he says making me laugh he could tell you them all from the top of his head "But I also want you guys to use her songs to get underneath your own feelings. To express and explore what's really going on with you" Mr Shu says "huh?" I ask what was he on about "I don't get it, Mr. Shue. What's really going on with us?" Finn asks just as confused as I was "Well, for most of you, these next few weeks will be your last here at McKinley. Lots of changes coming up, lots of saying good-bye. To your friends, to your significant others, to the last four years of your life. For a young person, all that transition can be overwhelming. So it's easier to focus on other things. Like not being able to say good-bye to Whitney Houston" Mr Shu says I look around he was right I wont be seeing most of these guys for a long time after the next 4 weeks ill lose 4 of my closest friends Rachel, Santana, Kurt and Finn what was I going to do? "What are you talking about?" Santana asks "Santana, it's okay. I get it. You're hanging on to Whitney because it's difficult to handle the upheaval in your own lives" Mr Shu adds "We're hanging on to Whitney because she was incredible and we love her, so don't put your baggage on us" Santana snaps I reach behind me and hold her hand calming her down "You guys, Mr. Shu's attempt to understand us, though misguided, doesn't matter. What matters is that I start rehearsing Whitney's version of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' immediately. It is the Mount Everest of anthems" Rachel begins her rant I making me laugh I was surprisingly going to miss her ranting on "any idea what song your going to sing?" Santana asks me I shake my head "no idea yet Brit?" I ask she smiles "I know just the song" she tells us and jumps up I look at Santana and we both giggle as Brit takes the floor

when the song finishes the whole club cheers "Obviously, I like dancing with Santana best, but you guys are all still cool dancers. And Quinn, you're still dancing in my dreams. And you can fly and breathe fire" Brit says I laugh of cause that's what Brit sees in her dreams I look over to my fave Gay couple and notice somthing off Kurt seems wrapped in his phone more then normal he hasn't even gave a longing glance at Blaine today like at all did they fight? no I would know both would complain to me what is going on I look at Rachel and see her not looking at Kurt and she looked nerves she knew I smirk and im going to find out when the bell goes for class I head right to Rachel "hay Rachel whats up?" I ask her as I lean on her locker she closes it "well I've been practicing Whitney Houston's version of The Star Spangled Banner and I still can't sing it" she tells me "not exactly what I meant but of cause its going to be hard she sang that like an angle" I tell her she sighs then looks at me "then what do you mean?" she asks me I lock eyes with her "whats going on with my brother and Kurt?" I ask her smile drops "oh well n...nothing" she lies to me "I know when your lying to me now spill" I tell her and laugh slightly she looks around then back to me "ok do you know Between the sheets?" she asks me "im hoping you mean the record place or I dont want to know" I tell her honestly she nods "yes the record place" she confirms I nod "well Kurt met this guy Chandler and they have been texting" she tells me I didnt like this "texting? like helpful advice?" I ask she gulps "like 'Are you an astronaut? Because your smile is out of this world' and stuff like that" she tells me I clench my fists "does Blaine know?" I ask coldly I see worry in Rachel's eyes as she shakes her head no "how long?" I ask her "two days" she says I growl and go to storm off but she grabs my hand "Danny no you cart" she tells me "I cart? Rachel Blaine is my brother he needs to know" I tell her "yes and Kurt is your best friend" she defends "that dosent make it ok to cheat on my brother" I snap she lets go "look Danny its not your place" she tells me I look down "but hes going to hurt my brother" I tell her she nods "Kurt should tell him and im sure he will" Rachel tells me I nod "fine" I mutter and go to class only for my phone to beep I check it and smile it was a text of Sebastain
