19- BOY OR GIRL?

I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and earlier today me and Yoongi went to an ultrasound scan, the doctor offered to tell us the gender, but we told him to write it down in a card

The boys are having another comeback in 14 days and then they're going on tour, but they got the day off today, so that's why we had the scan today

When we got back to the dorms, we started discussing how we were going to do the gender reveal

"I'm so tempted to open it" Taehyung eyed the envelope in Yoongi's hand

"Well, no ones opening it until we figure out how to do this" Yoongi put the envelope and put it in his pocket, out of the maknae lines sight

"How about a cake?" Jin suggested

My head shot up when I heard the word 'cake'

"Cake, What? Yes, I'm listening"

"I swear any types of food are your trigger words" Jungkook laughed

"Yeah, someone mentions something edible and then they have your full attention, you're worse than Jin" Namjoon joined in

"What Jin loves food less than a woman who's 4 and a half months pregnant?" I asked

"Well, I do really love food... any way, going back to the gender reveal, I can make a cake for you, the inside of the cake can be pink for a girl or blue for a boy" Jin offered

"It's a good idea, but why not orange for a girl and purple for a boy? Why does it always have to be pink and blue?" I started getting worked up over nothing

"It can be what ever colour you want it to be, I was just suggesti-"

"I haven't always given Chae things that were pink and pretty, I've brought cars toys or things that are considered 'boyish' for Chae before, people really need to stop with these boy/girl stereotypes!"

"Y/n, calm down, it was only a suggestion" Namjoon said hesitantly

"It just her hormones, she's like this all the time, you guys should know with how I bring her everywhere with us" Yoongi put his hand on my back and held my hand in his other hand

"We know, we've just never seen her this bad before" Jimin said close to whisper, like I wouldn't hear him

"Yeah, she scares me sometimes" Yoongi laughed

And then my mood went from pissed off to feeling really, really guilty

And I started crying
"Sorry" I snuffled out as I hid my face in my hands

Yoongi started rubbing my back

Jin's pov

When y/n started crying, Yoongi looked down at her and started rubbing her back, he had this loving smile on his face

You can really tell these two love each other

Every thing they do with each other is just so loving

They adore each other

I'm surprised neither one of them has put a ring on it yet

Y/n eventually stopped hiding in her hands and started drying her eyes with her sleeves

"I'm really sorry, I don't know what's happening to me" she laughed half-heartedly

"You're pregnant?" Namjoon reminded her

"I'm aware of that... I just never, ever, ever got mood swings or morning sickness as bad as this when I was pregnant with Chae Young"

"So... now you're not having a breakdown, the cake idea?"
