Y/n's pov

"So... what did the doctor say?" I ask Lauren in anticipation as she throws herself down next to me on my sofa, throwing her small shoulder bag off of her shoulder in the process

She doesn't answer, instead just looks down at her lap

"Come on, Lauren, whatever it is, I'll try and help you tell Jungkook" Yoongi, who we told for advice, leaned forward to look at her

"I can't.... I.... I can't have kids" her voice began to shake

I pulled her in for a hug and she started sobbing

"It's okay, Lauren, trust me, there are loads of other options, adoption, surrogates-"

"You know how I feel about surrogates"

Yoongi tapped me on the knee to get my attention

When I turned to him, he mouthed 'why?' And I mouthed back 'I'll tell you later'

"I know, I know Lauren, but if it comes to it I'll be your surrogate" I carried on comforting her

"You're willing to be pregnant with Jungkook's kids?" She laughed a little bit

"YOURS and Jungkook's kids, yeah"

She sat back up properly and wiped the tears away
"I'm being pathetic"

"No, you're not, this is a reasonable reaction. And why are you thinking about kids with him so soon, he's still a kid himself" I rubbed her back

"You two aren't moving things a bit too quick are you?" Yoongi asked

"No, we're not, and it's not exactly like you two can talk about moving to fast, your whole relationship started with you being pregnant"

"That was different, Lauren" I raised my voice slightly, but kept it at a level where Demi wouldn't wake up

"Look, I'm gonna go and tell him, thank you guys for your help, but I'll do it myself" she jumped up and grabbed her bag

"Are you sure you-" Yoongi was cut off by Lauren

"Just stay out of it please. Like I said, thank you, but he's probably gonna break up with me"

"He won't Lauren, trust me"

"Huh, I'm fat, ugly and I won't be able to give him the kids he wants, I don't even know why he's with me"

"Lauren, don't ever think of yourself like that, not again" I stood up in front of her

"Fuck off, y/n" she turned around and headed for the door

"Where are you going?" I stopped her

"To talk to Jungkook"

"Are you actually?"

"Yes"

"Do you promise?"

"I promise, I'm not gonna... I'm just gonna go and see Jungkook" and she left

Before Yoongi could say anything, I sat back down next to him and said
"You need to text Jungkook and tell him to text you that she got there safe"

"Why?"

"Remember me telling you, Lauren has a history of, you know... starving herself, binging and purging... self harm"

He nodded remembering me telling and he texted Jungkook

"Were you being serious about the whole being her surrogate thing?"

"If it comes to it, yeah"

"You're such a good friend" he smiled and kissed my cheek

"What was the whole thing with her and surrogates?"

I sighed
"I never told you this one, because it's complicated. Laurens real parents, they're korean. Lauren's mum, she couldn't have kids... and her parents got a surrogate, this woman from Scotland-"

"Wait, why from so far away?"

"Having a surrogate wasn't a popular thing back then so it was difficult finding anyone willing to do it... Anyway, this woman was around the same age as Lauren's parents and she was willing to move to Korea for this and everything. It all went okay and this woman kept in contact with Lauren's parents and was a really big part of her life... Lauren was only one and her parents had left her with her surrogate mother while they went to the shop... they got back and the both of them were gone, so was a whole bunch of Lauren's things, one thing that was there was a note that said 'I bared her for 9 months and gave birth to her, I deserve her, you don't' they called the police and they started a search, but couldn't find her... she hadn't gone back to Scotland like everyone thought she would have, instead she came to the city I was from in England, and that's how we met, we went to the same school... for 14 year Lauren thought this woman and her husband were her parents, she was always asked why she was Asian but her parents weren't, so when she was 14 she asked and fake parents told her a bunch of lies, said that they adopted her because her parents didn't want her... and that's when she her bulimia and self harm started...she tried to find them and since I had moved to Korea and we kept a in contact, I helped and eventually found news articles about the whole thing and Lauren was 16 when she found her parents and moved to Korea for them, her fake parents were arrested for child abduction..."

As if the universe wanted me to stop my rambling and story telling, Demi started crying
