39- TOO EARLY

Y/n's pov

So here we all are trapped at bts's dorms

Snowed in

And what's even worse is Chae Young is trapped at the BigHit building with her tutor

It's chaos outside

Roads are blocked, the traffics backed up for miles, it's -4 degrees out there

I've been laying in Yoongi's bed all day because my back is in so much pain

Only 6 days left until Demi's due and Taehyung is actually offering to give up his birthday if she doesn't want to be born on her due date and wants to be born on his birthday instead

Me and Yoongi are really excited for Demi to get here, but I think Taehyung is even more excited

A sharp stabbing pain in my back caused me to stand up

It was a reflex and I stood up fast

I leaned against the nearest wall while the dizziness went away

It actually felt good to stand up, so I left Yoongi's room and went into the living room where everyone, except Jin, was

Jin was in the kitchen making food

He's been a lot better recently, Yoongi convinced him to go to the doctors last month and he was diagnosed with PTSD

He's been getting therapy ever since and he was prescribed antidepressants

He's so much more like himself now

"Have you heard anything from Ji Hyun yet?" I asked

"They're still trapped there. Don't worry though y/n she's with Ji Hyun and whole bunch of staff members"

I knew that she was okay, she wasn't trapped as in the roof was about to cave in, they were trapped as in they wouldn't be able to get back here because of all of the traffic and because of how cold it is

"I'm gonna get a glass of water" I waddled into the kitchen and grabbed a glass from the cupboard, I was about fill it up when a wave of pain hit me

Almost like a contraction

No, no, no

Not now

I gasped and dropped the glass into the sink, I was using my arms to keep myself up and my hands were gripping the edges of the kitchen counter and I breathed heavily as the pain passed

"Are you okay, y/n?" Jin put his hand on my back

"Yeah, I'm fine, it's just my back" I lied, refusing to believe that I could be in labour

"Are you sure?"

I didn't answer him, I instead gasped as another wave of pain hit me, this one wasn't as painful as the last, but it was followed by a weird, warm sensation down there

I looked down and saw the jogging bottoms that I was wearing get soaked
(Jogging bottoms, I'm so British, they're sweatpants😂)

"Uh... Jin... I think my waters just broke" I dropped honourifics and usually Jin would scold me or any of the boys for this, but I think this was an exception

Out of the corner of my eyes I saw him look down to

"Uh... Yoongi!" He shouted grabbing a chair from the kitchen island and trying to sit me down on it

"No, I'll ruin it!" I refused

"It doesn't matter, we can take the cushions off and wash it" I was forced to sit down when another contraction hit me

"What's wrong?" Yoongi shouted from the other room

"You might wanna come here!" He ran in after Jin shouted back

He was shortly followed by the others being nosey

"Y/n, baby, what's wrong?" He leant down next to me

"My waters-" that was all I could get out while I was in the midst of a contraction

"Your waters broke? Um...." he was trying not to panic, but you could tell he was

We weren't even prepared yet

We still have so much to do

The crib hasn't even been built yet

We haven't even decided weather we're going to be staying here at the dorms or at mine

We're not ready

"Can someone call an ambulance?" I said, I was freaking out the least

"On it" Namjoon left the kitchen to get his phone

I couldn't see who, but someone was rubbing my lower back, right where it hurt

I didn't realise how much it was helping me until they stopped

"Whoever was rubbing my back, it was actually helping, please continue"

"Oh" it was Jin, he started rubbing my back again

Namjoon came in the room with his phone
"How far along are you?" He asked

I couldn't respond because I was having another contraction so Yoongi did for me
"39 weeks and 1 day"

Namjoon put the phone on speakerphone so we could all hear
"Okay, because of the traffic and the snow storm, it will take a while for anybody to get to you, I'm going to stay on the phone until they do, just in case anything happens"

"Like what?" Namjoon asked

"In case this baby doesn't want to wait for the paramedics to get there to make it's grand entrance" the operator responded

"Wait, so you're saying there's a chance that these idiots will have to help me give birth?" I trusted them, but you know, the thought of having them looking down there and helping scared me

Hoseok and Jin would probably pass out at the sight of blood

Taehyung would probably let the others do all the work and when he thinks it's taking to long he'd probably try and pull Demi out of me

Namjoon would be disgusted, but pretend he knows what he doing and that he doesn't care

Jungkook would be disgusted, but he'd tell you he's disgusted and he'd narrate the whole thing like it's a horror movie, saying things like "Oh my god, it's crowning" and "Holy fuck, it looks like Carrie"

Jimin would probably be the one to hold my hand and be encouraging me and consoling me, but he'd eventually get distracted by what's happening and look down there and forget about comforting me

I think Yoongi would be the only, kinda, calm one

One, because it's his baby and fiancé

Two, because he's seen me in more compromising positions before

What the hell are we going to do?

I really don't think Demi wants to wait for the paramedics to get here

Remember when Chae Young was born and how bad I was at writing that, well this time it's gonna be even worse for... reasons you've probably already guessed
