♡𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐸𝑙𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛♡

What was the point in all of this? Was Susie really trying to prove she was best? Is Lancer trying to prove to his father that he is capable of things? I didn't want to hurt Susie and certainly, I didn't want to hurt Lancer.

I thought of them as my friends. Sure, Susie and I go off and on... But that definitely doesn't mean I want to fight her. I want her to know she can be a good guy and I want her to know that she doesn't have to keep herself reserved from Kris, Ralsei and I. And maybe I'm saying this because I fear she would kill me. Maybe I do just want to be friends.

But thinking about this, I remember a time...

"I, um, know that you're strong. Underestimating you Is probably the most stupid thing I...anyone... can do. So, um, I don't. And because of that, I hope you don't underestimate me, either. I'm not strong, but I hope you can go easy on me if, god forbid, you turn on us. Just give me a head start, okay?"

And sure, Susie didn't reply but I hope she remembers. I can admit that I am indeed scared the reptile would kill me because I know if she tried, she would kill me in an instant. But seeing her smile and have a fun time, unlike seeing her everyday as she would bully everyone she sees... It brings a smile to my face too.

*You tried convincing Susie not to fight.
*There was no effect!

I curse under my breath. She's too stubborn! Why can't this be easier? Why can't I just talk to her??? I don't want to fight!

Kris defends as does Ralsei. Susie smirks and hops on Lancer. I tilt my head, watching as her and Lancer drive by me, Susie throwing her ax at me. I twist and turn, trying my best to dodge. I hiss and bite my lip when I feel a pain in my arm. That ax is impossible to dodge!

*You used a terrible excuse!
*You feel like the scum of the earth!

I sigh, rubbing off my blood from my arm and preparing for whatever Kris told me to do.

*Smells like teamwork.

Kris looks at me, pointing at Susie. They saw my expression. They knew what I feel towards Lancer and Susie. I'm sure they feel the same way, too.

*Kris orders you to SING!
*You sang a soft and entrancing lullaby!
*SUSIE fell asleep!

A relieved sigh escapes my mouth. At least Susie won't be attacking me for a good amount of time.

Lancer smiles as he rides his bike, driving towards Kris who effortlessly dodged the attack. I was amazed. Maybe after the fight, Kris could teach me how to dodge attacks.

Susie sat on the floor, little snores escaping her mouth as she held tightly on her ax. I think I even seen red liquid drip from it. It must've been mine. It made me gag at the thought. I just hope she cleans the weapon after we're through with this.

*You tried convincing Lancer not to fight.
*LANCER started to become convinced!

"Oh! It's working on me!" Cried Lancer as he drives towards us. Ralsei dodged his attacks, his scarf and his fur elegantly flowing with the wind that brushed past him. Such beauty.

*Kris tries telling Lancer they like his hair...
*Lancer became even more convinced!

Lancer lifts his arm. Spades come from all directions to me. "Ow!" I yelp, feeling a sharp pain snap on my shoulder. "Damn!" I curse under my breath, clutching my shoulder as I dodge the remaining attacks.

*SUSIE woke up!

"Huh? What'd I miss?" asks Susie as she rubs her eye, looking at me. She had an expression on her face I couldn't understand. What is that darn monster thinking?
