Y/N POV
Appa now goes to Eommas grave everyday
Today he comes back home he is surprisingly very quiet

We all sit down on the couch together and I notice he is looking on his phone

Of Minjun, Eui and I

I see him smile to himself
And for the first time in my life I realise

Appa loves us more than he shows

I smile to myself

Appa: "I'm very tired so I'm going to sleep"

Chae gets up and assists him to his bed
I run to the kitchen and grab his pain killers

I walk into his room where Chae is tucking him in

Y/N: "Appa here are your painkillers"

Appa: "No Adeul/Ttal there is no pain tonight"

We close the door quietly

I hear the click as the door closes and look at the bedside table
I open the photobook I brought with me

I remember the memories of each of these photos
Tears well up into my eyes and I feel them streaming down

This emptiness....

Is the same thing I felt years ago

The feeling of loosing someone you love

The doctors said that he passed away peacefully in his sleep

With no pain

There is no pain tonight

Those words ring in my heart and head continuosly

It has been 2 weeks since Appa past away

We walk into the funeral ceremony and sit down in the row at the front next to Eui

I shoot her a glare as she receives sympathetic comments and hugs from friends and relatives

I sigh sharply and the MC comes into the stage

He finishes talking and someone rolls in a projector

We look at the screen and tears spring into my eyes

Everyone eventually leaves including Rosé because it is a  family business until there is only 4 people left

An official looking man comes up to us

Man: "Hello is this Yang Hyun Suk's family?"

Eui: "Yes, who is this asking?"

Man: "I am Mr Yang's lawyer I'll be reading his will out to you"

We all look at each other and walk into the room around the corner

The lawyer clears his throat

Lawyer: "Please have a seat"

We all sit down while Minjun plays with his toys on my lap

Lawyer: "I'm very sorry for your loss. Hyun Suk was a dear friend of mine. I'll read the letter now"

Dear Y/N, Eui and Minjun my dear children
I am proud to be known as your father
You are the light of my life and my hope for the future

Eui, continue being the beautiful smart daughter that I know and read the bedtime stories I used to Wonhee

My house will go to Eui because Minjun has no use for it at the moment and Y/N will be getting half of the inheritance

Rei screams

Lawyer: "Eui and Yang Hyun Suk came about a 2 weeks ago to change the will"

I look at Eui in shock

She high fives me and we burst out laughing

She grabs Eui by her hair and slams her against the brick wall
I grab Rei by the collar as Minjun starts crying and the Lawyer calls the police
The police drag her out of the room while she screams

Rei: "I'LL GET MY REVENGE!"

Eui looks at me with fear in her eyes

Eui: "Oh my god! Rei is INSANE!"

Y/N: "Cut all contact from her, she's dangerous to be around"

Eui nods and I carry Minjun in my arms as we walk out of the room

Minjun: "Where's my Eomma..."

He sniffles into my suit

Y/N: "We're going to see Rosie now, aren't you excited!"

I say to him as cheerfully as possible
He instantly cheers as he hears Chae's name

Minjun: "Yay! We're going to see Chae Ajumma"

He squeals as I give him a ride on my shoulders

Eui whispers in my ear

Eui: "What are we going to do....we need to tell him eventually"

Y/N: "I don't know but Chae and I will look at him for the time being"

I get into my car and pull the seatbelt on Minjun
