He was right behind you.
You could hear his footsteps gaining ground just as your own slowed down, your heart beating wildly in your chest. His maniacal laughter echoed in the darkness and your heart jumped at the sound. He was right behind you...Your legs ached terribly, your body burned with pain...and you knew you couldn't outrun him.
Not with his speed and skill.
Thinking fast, you darted around a corner and hid beneath an old, rusty table, thankful to the lazy jerk who had left it there. Obviously, it was not the best hiding place but it would do in a pinch. At least it might buy you some time...Covering your mouth, you attempted to control yourself as you waited. And listened. His footsteps echoed away, his laughter vanishing from your ears. You were safe. You could breath again. You waited a few moments though, still on red alert until you finally figured that it was safe enough to come out. Crawling out from beneath the table, your legs still felt wobbly. It was one thing to know that he was right behind you...but another to have no idea where he could be.
That was another kind of creepy...
You looked around the dark street, glancing behind you before turning back around the corner to retrace your steps to safety. Maybd if you hurried...But maybe didn't happen. Instead, you crashed right into the clone's sturdy chest, his arms instantly wrapping around you tightly. Pining you to him. Trapping you...and as he looked down at you, eyes glowing and tongue wiggling...you knew it was game over.
Michelangelo leaned down, kissing you long and messily as you gasped. But despite your best efforts, you couldn't fight the turtle and instead found yourself kissing him back. Knowing that he had won in more then one way, Mikey pulled away from you, laughing wildly.
"You're it!" He shouted gleefully.
You broke out into a run, even though you knew that you would never be able to catch a ninja. Still! It was worth it for all the fun you were having.
