As a child, Rosalie Hale was loved dearly by her mother, but after the accident, not so much by her mentally ill father. She took martial arts lessons because of what happened to him, yet she never knew the full story as to why. All she remembered was that it was her fault, the verbal/physical abuse explained that greatly. Rosalie only had one best friend growing up, Vanessa Collins,(also the reason she works at Wayne Enterprises). She doesn't care much for rules, but she will break them if she feels like it. Back when Hugo Strange had power, Rosalie once witnessed one of his kidnappings on her way home, making eye contact with the Dr. himself and soon became his next test subject. Somehow they altered her DNA, while she was trapped in the basement of Arkham Asylum, for many months. He lets her escape and she continues her life at Wayne Enterprises, secretly with her powers and being know as, 'The Witch.'
