after getting their orders from jollibee, donghyuck placed the plastic bags on his lap while mark continued driving their way to wherever he wanted the both of them to go.
they passed by a bunch of buildings and donghyuck looked outside the window, the city was big and a lot of people is seen on the streets, whether foreigners touring the place or families having a bond, you name it.
it was around 12 when donghyuck almost fell asleep but woke up immediately when mark stopped the car abruptly. he squinted his eyes and rubbed it. "are we there yet?" he asked softly
mark looked over the younger and cooed. "aww i'm sorry i kept you from sleeping. and yeah, we're already here" he said and got outside the car first.
the younger excitedly averted his gaze outside and was stunned. "a beach resort? wow, the exterior looks fancy." he commented as he looked at the big ass gate in front of them. getting out of the car, he looked up the sign hung above.

dang. that sounds fancy- donghyuck thought and held the plastic bags in his hand. "let's get in" mark said and opened the gate, walking inside as the younger followed him from behind.
as they entered the place, donghyuck was very mesmerized by the view of the place. although it was a bit hot outside, he can clearly see some birds passing by up in the air and the calm waves of the ocean.
there were empty fancy looking cottages with numbers placed on every door. he couldn't help but to fall in love instantly with the resort. it was like a paradise hidden in the further part of Seoul.
mark chuckled as he watched the younger look at the whole place, eyes sparkling in amazement. he then grabbed the plastic bags from the younger and stole a peck on his lips, running away immediately.
donghyuck on the other hand, blushed deeply and chased after the older. "MARK LEE COME BACK HERE!"
and so mark ran faster, opening the door of the huge house not too far from the beach and quickly hid behind the couch. but what he didn't expect is for donghyuck to bump on the closing door. thinking that it wouldn't close on it's own when it got opened before.
hearing the groan from his boyfriend, mark widened his eyes and placed the plastic bags down the table and hurried towards donghyuck who was this close to crying
"that shit hurts" he bit his bottom lip and smiled softly as soon as he felt strong arms wrapped around his waist. "i'm sorryy" the older whispered and rubbed his back gently
donghyuck shrugged and buried his face in mark's neck, hugging him back. "it's the door's fault" he frowned and wiped the tears that formed at the corner of his eyes
his boyfriend noticed this and slowly pulled away from the hug and faced the door. "you piece of huge ass ugly son of a door! how dare you hurt my boyfriend-" he scolded it like as if the door was a human
the younger couldn't help but to laugh at mark. he was also touched at the moment and felt really glad to have a boyfriend like the guy in front of him who was scolding the damn door.
"hey markk, we should go eat now. stop that, idiot" donghyuck said in between laughter. how can he not laugh- mark then stopped and ended up laughing with him as well. "we should. but is your face okay? how about your nose? did it hit your jaw? tell mee"
"i'm fine ramen head. don't worry"
"are you sure, love?" mark asked, raising an eyebrow then donghyuck just nodded and smiled reassuringly.
the older felt satisfied and took a hold of his hand, taking him inside and let him sit on the couch in the living room
taking the foods out of the plastic bag, mark arranged them first on the table so it wouldn't look too messy while donghyuck took a spoon. "let's dig innnn"

after eating, the pair helped each other in cleaning the mess they made in the living room. they even had a small fight between which was the best, the spoon or the fork.
the spoon because you can put more food on it or the fork because you can easily eat noodles plus you can stab someone with it- ( jKJKJK )
and of course, mark was on the spoon's side while donghyuck was on the fork's side
"forks are deadly, like me" donghyuck said proudly and crossed his arms
in the end, both agreed that markhyuck is superior and better than anything else.
after 3 hours of having a movie marathon with the younger and 2 hours of cuddling on the couch then falling asleep on it, mark slowly woke up and smiled widely as he saw donghyuck lying on top of him
hearing his cute snores, he melted on the spot and felt the need to protect the younger at all cost ( which he has been working on )
he was like an angel sent from above and mark was proud to call the angel his, finally.
"love? wake up." he whispered and gently stroked his hair. what he got in return was just a small hum from him.
mark sighed and got up carefully, placing donghyuck's head on his lap. he then did the only thing he knows that will definitely wake the younger up
he showered his face with soft kisses while whispering 'i love you' on repeat
donghyuck groaned and curled up in a ball which mark found too cute for his heart. "daddy, 10 more minuteeessss" he heard him mumble the sentence and mark smirked.
he leaned in closer to donghyuck's ear and whispered. "daddy huh?" just then, the younger's eyes shot open only realizing what he said and blushed madly.
mark leaned back and donghyuck took the chance to sit up, covering his face with both his hands. "i-it's not what you think! i was talking about my.. my.. my dad! yes, my dad!"
mark could only chuckle and lifted him up, placing donghyuck on his lap while facing him and looked at him in the eyes. "is my baby blushing?" he teased, earning a smack on his arm
"i hate you" donghyuck pouted
"i love you too"
"but i said i hate you!"
"and i said i love youu"
donghyuck pouted more and just buried his face in mark's chest, arms around the older. mark chuckled at the action and kissed his hair, looking at his wristwatch. "we should go eat dinner, i still have to show you something"

mark was dragging donghyuck towards the shore, the moon already replacing the sun with the shining stars slowly showing up in the sky.
"maarkk, don't run too fast!" the younger said and tiredly ran after him.
mark stopped into a halt, causing for donghyuck to stop as well. mark sat down the sand and gestured him to do the same.
"look up the stars hyuck"
and so he looked up the stars. "wow.. it's so beautiful.." he mumbled
mark averted his gaze towards the younger male, smiling widely as he stared at his side profile. "mhm,, you're so beautiful"
donghyuck felt heat creeping up his face and looked at mark, pushing his head to the other side so he wouldn't have to stare at him anymore. "s-shut up!"
mark smirked, "make me~"
without hesitation, donghyuck placed his hand behind mark's nape and closed the gap between the two. their lips connected and their hearts speeding up in the same pace ( a/n: MY PACE-- )
