jeno, renjun, jaemin, donghyuck, mark, chenle and jisung all agreed to have a thanksgiving party. there will be exchanging of gifts of course, but the thing is, the secret santas will give funny gifts
which is why everyone- well not really everyone, donghyuck had already decided what to give and he told everyone it's just simple- is on their own now, roaming around the big mall to find a gift
even though jaemin wanted to come with renjun and jeno, the rest didn't let him since the gifts have to be secrets that only the one who bought it can know what it was
jaemin kept whining on their way to the mall that jeno had to kiss him to shut him up, resulting for the younger to blush madly and faked a coughed then looked outside the window of the car
as soon as the group reached the mall, they went to their separate ways.
jaemin went to go to the girls' clothes, who he got was a secret for now but he will reveal it later. then, a complete set of a maid's outfit caught his attention.
he headed over it and saw some black gloves and a pair of black knee socks included in the box where it was placed. he found it really cute and decided to grab it then went straight to the counter
renjun was around the kids area, he was looking for something that will fit to the person he got. he then heard a baby crying and saw the baby pointing at a pacifier. renjun's expression lit up and smirked evilly as he already knew what to buy.
jeno stayed at the first floor where the grocery place is. he went there and scanned all the things he passed by. but one thing caught his eye, and it a mask.
mark couldn't really think of something to give. he wanted to ask donghyuck as to what could be a funny gift to give beforehand but he forgot. so now, he is like a lost puppy, not knowing where to go
chenle and jisung almost bumped into each other, they immediately hid their gifts behind them. chenle smiled at the younger and spoke, "are you done buying?"
"yeah. kind of" he replied, scratching the back of his head
chenle then peeked on the bag like the curious cat he is. "that looks big, is it a bunch of candies or something" he mumbled then the younger laughed. "no, it's not hyung"
"okay then." chenle giggled and continued. "wait, we didn't told the others where we'll meet at after. do you have your phone with you? i left mine at home"
"no worriess"
jisung gave him a thumbs up before pulling out his phone from his pocket and left a small message.
then they made their way towards the meeting place, hands brushing against each other frequently which turned chenle into a blushing mess. jisung on the other hand, was very much tempted to hold his hand but kept himself from doing so anyways.
the group is now together at starbucks, gifts placed inside their bags with cups of different coffees in front of them. they were all just chatting. mark got a text from donghyuck that he got bored so he'll be joining them soon

it was around 7 pm, when the whole group gathered up in mark's beach resort. donghyuck was the one who suggested that they'll stay there for the night and everyone else agreed
chenle came in pretty late since he got lost way back in the woods. after finding out the reason why he was late, everyone burst into fit laughter. it wasn't even hard to reach to the beach resort though,
"okay now let's start!" renjun yelled while clapping to get each people's attention. the seven boys formed a big circle nearby the fireplace. the gifts are now in their hands.
donghyuck then asked. "who goes first?"
"let's go from the youngest!" jeno suggested then everyone agreed
jisung stood up and went to mark, handing him a medium sized box. the older opened it and started laughing. out of curiosity, chenle helped the older to unwrap the present and started laughing again. it was a stuffed seagull.
mark placed his gift down where he was sitting and grabbed his present for jeno. the younger opened it eagerly and was dumbfounded when he got a bunch of cottons
next, jeno gave a small box to chenle. the chinese male pouted and asked the older. "what is this for?" the gift was an ordinary mask with a cute dolphin design on the lower left part of it. "so we wouldn't have to listen to your loud voice anymore"
the younger dramatically gasped and threw a pillow on jeno that he got from the couch. renjun was the one who laughed the most out of all of them but then he got quiet when jeno looked at him intently. oh boi.
after recovering, chenle handed jaemin a plastic bag. the taller male took a peek on what's inside and blushed madly. it was a dozen of panties.
the maknae line started to tease him and he just shrugged. "shouldn't i give this to renjun though?" a small smirk was now plastered on his face
"yah! NA JAEMIN I WILL-" before he could say something, jaemin interrupted him by pecking his lips with jeno hugging him from behind
"okay you can stop now! we don't want to watch a live gay po-"
"donghyuck!" mark chuckled and pulled him closer to him
jaemin then continued and gave the gift to donghyuck. the brunette opened the rectangular shaped box and saw the maid outfit. "love, what's wrong?" mark asked as he saw the obvious blush on his boyfriend's cheeks
"i-it's nothing-- WAIT MARK DON'T-"
mark snatched the box from his boyfriend and started to blush furiously. "i- jaemin?" he looked at the younger with a questioning look. he hate to admit it but he wanted to see hyuck in the uniform.
jaemin just winked at him and forced hyuck to give his present already. the blushing male stuttered as he said a small 'okay' then gave renjun a large box.
renjun thanked him and opened the box but what made him frown is to see another one inside it but smaller. he took the smaller box and opened it again, now glaring at donghyuck who was now laughing too hard.
he opened the 3rd box and felt relieved when he saw some crumpled papers. throwing them on the floor, he found another smaller box, yet again. the older got irritated more when he found a penny inside that small box. "A+ for effort!" they heard jisung yell and all laughed
dang, how many times are they going to laugh-
after getting the gifts, everyone wore their matching pajamas and ate together happily.
