Helpless // Gawsten

Part Two

Awsten didn't know what to do. He had never been asked to coffee before let alone a date. Was it even a date? Geoff said it was, or maybe awsten heard him wrong. Never the less awsten was nervous.

Geoff and Awsten had been texting and had established that they would meet up at a Starbucks down the road but much to Awsten's dismay Geoff insisted on picking him up.

So here Awsten was waiting at the parking lot of his apartment for Geoff to drive up

It was pretty chilly outside so awsten was wrapped up in one of his sweaters like usual

Right as Awsten was about to text Geoff and ask where he was he pulled up, right to the curb.

"Hello" awsten said, he was so nervous he hoped it came out right

"Hey" Geoff said

Awsten still wasn't sure Geoff wasn't a murderer so it took a lot of guts to get into his car

The car was silent the most of the way there because Awsten couldn't see Geoff's lips when he was paying attention to the road but when there was a stop they exchanged small talk

When they got in the coffee shop Geoff ordered them two coffees

Awsten started to zone out. He couldn't help it.

Geoff was fucking beautiful. Awsten had never felt this way before, I mean he'd had crushes before but it's never been like this. He didn't even know Geoff so it was crazy for him to feel like this, he didn't even know if Geoff was gay. He could be homophobic for all Awsten knew.

Awsten was snapped out of his trance when Geoff handed him his coffee

"Oh, thank you."

"You zoned out there"

"Ha ha, yeah, a little."

Awsten was nervous

The went and sat down at a table in the corner.

Awsten sipped from his coffee and Geoff did the same
"You're cute." Geoff said

Awsten choked of his drink, did he hear that right?

"What?" Awsten said

That's when Geoff put his coffee down and signed to awsten

"I said 'you're cute'"

"I- I didnt know you could sign"

"Yeah I know a little" he's speaking again

"But really awsten, you're fucking adorable. I want to keep seeing you, that is if it's okay with you. I really like you."

"I- uhh"

"Oh god! You're straight aren't you! Oh god how come I always fuck things up?"

"I- uh I'm gay"

"You have a boyfriend don't you? Oh I'm so sorry I don't know how I could fuck up like this."

"I- i- no I'm single. I like you too"

"Oh!" Geoff's face lit up "I'm sorry I embarrassed myself."

"It's okay."

Awsten and Geoff got up and walked back out to Geoff's car "uhh thank you for the coffee, it was really uhh nice"

"No problem aws"

"Uhh, don't call me that"

"Oh sorry"

"Uh, thank you for the coffee again" awsten said nervous

"Well I'm going to walk you up to your apartment."

"Oh, uh okay"

Awsten and Geoff walked up the stairs

"When am I going to see you again?" Geoff said as they reached awstens door

"I, uhh, I'm free all this week."

"Okay I'll call you"

"Uhh, that won't work"

"Oh, yeah, I'm so sorry, I forgot!"

"It's okay, I'll text you" awsten said "bye Geoff"

"Bye awsten"

Awsten opened the door to his apartment going to close the door but he stopped when Geoff tapped him on the shoulder

Awsten turned around "ye-"

He was cut off by Geoff smashing his lips into his

"I- I uhh"

"Goodbye awsten" Geoff said with a smirk on his face

Awsten closed his door leaning back against it his mouth agape

He was falling for this boy.
