[ MOVIE 1 - THE PRINCESS DIARIES ]

[ CHAPTER ELEVEN ]

I HAD MY EYES CLOSED, the only sound inside the limousine you could hear was my soft breathing. Mia was beside me, her hand clenching mines tightly as she sat still, trying to calm herself due to the crowd that was outside. A soft knock on the window caused me to open my eyes and a few brief seconds later, the door opened.

Since Mia sat on my right, she had to go out first, and slowly, she let go of my hand. I smiled at her reassuringly when she looked back at me. I took a deep breath and let a small smile appear on my lips before exiting out of the limousine.

"Back up, the princesses are late for school." Coach Harbula informed the crowd of gathering students who stood behind her 

"Can you sign my backpack?" A familiar voice asked us causing me to look over and see that it was Linda who had asked the question  

"Hi, princesses." The familiar voice of a young girl greeted us from her wheelchair as we walked closer to her and her classmates

"Can I have your autographs, please?" The young girl asked us both as we went to stand right in front of her 

I let my small smile stretch into an even bigger one when I spotted who was beside her. Jeremiah was kneeling down beside his cousin, smiling at her and it widens when he saw me. I waved at him and he waved back before stretching out his hand, offering it to me and I held onto it.

"What's your name, sweetie?" Mia asked Jeremiah's cousin curiously causing me to remember that she never met the young girl

"Lilly," Lilly revealed to Mia her name making her gasp lightly while Letty, her sister, who was in Jeremiah's arms look at me in concern

"That's our best friend's name," Mia revealed the small piece of information to little Lilly who grinned widely 

"You look just as beautiful as she does, and so do you, Letty." I complimented the twins as I ruffled Letty's hair gently with my free hand

"I thought I was your best friend." Michael objected lightly from where he stood behind Jeremiah causing both Lilly and Letty to laugh just as Mia handed me the small notebook to sign

"You are my guy best friend." I corrected Michael who gave me a fake gasp of shock and looks of hurt for the younger kids

"Why hello there, and who are you?" Mia asked Lilly's sister who went to stand up after Jeremiah let her go

"Charlotte, but I go by Letty," Letty informed her a bit nervously since she had never met her before
