Chapter 5

The next morning Jade and I rushed to get all our things together, although we did have our bags packed the night before we did forget a few minor things that we didn't leave behind.

"Got everything?" I asked.

"Yea, you?"

"Yup. Ready to go then?"

"Yup." Jade and I walked down to the lobby where we planned on meeting the boys -the only reason we planned on meeting them here was because that had been the plan since the start and we were much to mad at them to talk about change-

"What time is it?" I asked as Jade pulled out her phone to check.

"Six o'clock" she and I groaned. I hated being up early and I hated waiting.

"They should've been here by now." I complained.

"I know, but they'll show soon."

"I'm giving it fifteen more minutes." I said as I walked over to one of the chairs placed in the lobby.

After a half hour had gone by Jade was tired of waiting too so we decided to just go to the airport without them. We called ourselves a cab and put our bags into the trunk and got into the back. The ride to airport was very quiet. Much to talk about, just not enough energy to say any of it.

Once we walked into the airport we the two idiots we were supposed to meet up with in the lobby.

"How come you guys didn't show?" Jade asked and you could already tell by her tone she was annoyed.

"Show up where?" Sam asked.

"The lobby where the four of us planned on meeting." I said because I was already in a bad mood and just by looking at Sam I wanted to scream.

"Well because the two of you were mad at us so we just thought you wouldn't be there. That's why Sam and I just came to the airport alone." Zayn said trying to be the calm one in all of this, but I knew him and I knew he was in a bad mood just as well.

"Well maybe next time you should let someone know that you won't be showing up so that way they don't wait in a lobby for half an hour." I said. Jade and I walked passed the boys before they could say anything else. I was not looking forward to this flight.

When Jade and I walked into my house we went up to my room and both collapsed on my bed. We were exhausted and also glad that we had gotten away from the boys. I looked over at the time and it was already really nine at night. I looked over at Jade who had fallen asleep and I couldn't help but smile at how cute and peaceful she looked. I moved our suitcases near my closest and took a pair of pajamas from my dresser. I looked at myself in the mirror and it was clear from my eyes how tired I was. I walked over to the bathroom and changed into my mickey mouse pajamas. I put my hair up in a messy bun and threw the clothes I had worn during the day into the hamper.

"Welcome home Perrie! Where's Jade?" my mum asked as she had come out of her room the same time I had walked out of the bathroom.

"She's in my room. She fell asleep already." I said. My mum walked towards and wrapped her arms around pulling me into one of her warm hugs.

"I missed you darling." she said and I smiled.

"I missed you too mum." I said and a few seconds later she let go. I smiled as she made her way downstairs. I walked into my room and moved Jade over so I could have space. I laid down beside her and kissed her cheek before I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of Jade talking. As I opened my eyes I saw her sitting on the bed leaning against the wall, smile on her face and on the phone. I instantly thought it was Sam although that made no sense since they had recently broken up and she seemed like she was completely done with him.

i sat up and mouthed 'who are you talking to?' and I was pleased as she mouthed back 'my dad'. I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I was glad that she was on the phone with her father and not Sam. I was also really happy for because Jade and her father never really had the best father-daughter relationship and whenever he made an effort to see her or call her I knew that made her really happy.

"Perrie!" Jade said running to the bathroom in excitement.

"What's got you so excited?" I asked knowing it was something about her father, just not sure exactly what it was.

"My dad offered to drive us to the airport on Friday when we leave. He also promised to fly out with my mum during Christmas." she said smiling. I was happy he was making an effort, but I knew he hardly came through with his promises and I didn't want her to feel down when he didn't show up for Christmas or drove us to the airport.

"Jade that's great, but what if he doesn't come through like all the other times?" I asked not wanting to bring her down, yet not wanting her to get her hopes up to high.

"I know he's never really come through with a promise, but this time it's different." she said with a small sigh.

"Jade I love you and I mean this in the best way, but I don't think he will. I'm glad you two have been getting closer and it's great that he's come through with his recent promises but the ones he just promised are pretty big and I just don't want you to be sad that he didn't come through." I said.

"I understand where you're coming from, but he's changed and I can tell he has. I can also tell you're telling me this for my benefit, but I'd really love to get closer to my father and by doubting him how would that help?"

"You're right, but please just don't get your hopes up to high." I said and she nodded.

The rest of the day Jade and I hung out in the mall and bought clothes we wanted to bring with us to the states. After a few hours of hanging out in the mall we headed to our favorite little ice cream shop that we had been going to ever since we were very young, then we went back to my place and finished packing everything we needed. We made sure we had everything we needed since we wouldn't be back for a while. We'd be leaving for college in two days and our first day of classes started the week after we'd arrive. I was nervous, but excited.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while and sorry this chapter sucked, but the next one will be better promise and hopefully up soon. I start school soon so updates will take much longer possibly once a week or one every two weeks i don't know yet. But anyways thanks for reading. Vote and comment please!
