My little puppy wouldn't stop chasing Alex around, not that he's not enjoying it, it's just Alex needs to get ready for school, he and his twin sister cannot keep missing the bus. The traffic at the middle school is always really bad. I know it's on the way but I want to make it to school on time. Ally came up the stairs and threw her backpack onto the couch. Just like her brother, began playing with Rocky.

"Come on you two, get ready to leave." I told them both while Rocky ran to me, ready to go down to my room to sleep. This lazy little puppy.

Ally and Alex pick up their bags, "Why can't you just take us to school? I hate the bus!" Ally complained.

Jayden walked in, her excitement for school was adorable, "But you get to go with me!" She shouted energetically, then Rocky ran to her, begging for attention. My siblings' schools are directly next to each other so they take the same bus, another reason not to drive them. Also the twins would fight over the front seat.

"We're thirteen with an older sibling with a car, we should be able to go." Ally picked her phone up. How much she complained hurt my head.

Alex gave Jayden her mini donut and held onto her backpack. I notice how protective he is of his sisters, it's not a new experience, just makes me think my generation and future generations aren't completely doomed. "You love taking the bus Ally, isn't Maddox and stuff still there?" He can be a jerk sometimes which makes my hope for future generations dwindle.

Jayden looked up, powdered sugar all over her face, "Maddox? That boy you always talk to?" Jayden looked up at Ally. She was still in kindergarten but she reminds me of a three year old with her level of curiosity.

Ally had turned red slightly in her cheeks and allowed for her dark brown hair to cover her face. "No." She lied. Her finger always twitches or hides when she lies. Of course mom never notices it, other than her finger twitch, she's a good liar.

My 7:20 alarm goes off in my pocket. "Time to get to school kids." I told them. Then I noticed the rain storm coming down and I sighed, "Come on, I'll drive you to the bus stop." The bus stop was surprisingly far considering where we live, outside of the entire neighborhood, always a big group of kids.

After dropping them off, I made sure Jayden had her mouth clean and that they all had my umbrella. Can't let them get sick on my watch. "Bye Leah." They all said in different tones yet somehow in unison. Once they were all out, I drove off to school.

My phone would buzz in my pocket, it never took me by surprise the only real surprise is how people somehow get my phone number and snapchat. Instagram was one of those exceptions since searching up people's names and begin to stalk. Snapchat is just people sending out streaks, never struck me to answer other ones. DM's were a different case, it was always for something involving drama, and with it being a Monday, it makes sense. Texts are usually just from my family and work. Specifically Ally and Alex, they always claim I'm their absolute favorite sibling then immediately ask for something from me. I walk towards the school from the parking lot, checking my phone, just snapchats and reminders for homework and upcoming tests. DM's weren't pouring in yet. That should be a good sign. I look up at the closed doors of the school, time to walk in.

I noticed it when I took those first steps in, the school's attitude became more dramatic and wary. Odd how it feels like this when some sort of drama is welcomed into its atmosphere. Perhaps every high school is like this, not that I'd know, I've only gone to one high school, and never moved in my life, and considering what a small town I'm in proves how much more wrong I could be.

In the corner, Lily, sitting at a chair; headphones in, face staring at her phone. Not with her friends or clinging onto some guy like every other day. Blocking the doors to walk in, coincidentally, her friends, laughing it up like life's great. Something happened again. On the opposite corner, a group of boys laughing at their phones. Another girl has sent something to them again. Sometimes I wonder how naïve freshmen girls could be, especially since by the time the entire school see's this, their crying their mascara out in the bathroom. Oh well it happens, high school is just four years of your life, what happens here will one day all be something to laugh about to friends, considering you have friends that is. Through it all, it nobody's fault that you decided to make the mistakes you made. You have to live with them because life isn't fair.
