Rhyme: "Overdrive"

You're in overdrive, anyone could see

You start thinking nothing is ever satisfactory

You tell yourself everything is alright

But you cry yourself to sleep at night

You're in overdrive, anyone could see

You hide from the world outside hopelessly

You cover yourself in shadows of black

Hoping that no one would make a crack

You're in overdrive, anyone could see

You can't even bring yourself to say 'whoopee'

You don't realise your all alone

Because you don't even notice that you're prone

I'm trying to help you, don't you see?

I want to get you out of becoming an absentee

I want to help you come out of your shell

You're in overdrive, can't you tell?
