I'm not very good at writing poetry, my friends say that everything I write is depressing but I just felt like sharing a poem that I wrote recently on here. Most of my poetry is about inner pain and if you don't like things like that I completely understand if you skip through this. I might share a few of my other pieces later on.
All the world

The broken side of me
The side you'll never see
The outcast
The failure
The one you'll never need
Here lies my shattered crown
I've lost my crystal keys
My fallen kingdom bows
For all the world to see
Above my flaming throne
Below the icy skies
The ash filled air clouds my mind
Yet still the smoke does rise
I hold it inside
The pain I try to hide
Every day I lie
And though my voice is hoarse
In my heart I cry
A heart grows colder before it gets warm
A summer breeze after a winter storm
This icy land is my pain
Rocky cliffs and rough terrain
Soon it shall melt and slowly change
But for now here I remain
I've never published any of my poems before or showed them to anyone besides my close friends.
