I don't really know how well received this story will be, and I also apologize for the Cover. With the way I have everything planned out, there will be an entire series with this. I wanted to try my hand at a retelling of Harry Potter, but I wanted it to be different than the rest.

Plus, I want a symbiosis, Harry Potter.

The banging on the door no longer phased Harry, but the being inside of him stirred in irritation at the loud noise.

The telltale sound of whirls and clicks came from the many different locks and latches on the door bounced off of the walls of the room for a moment before the door swung open.

"Get up freak," Vernon's gruff voice came from the hallway, spitting out the last word like it was going to poison him. "You have chores to do and breakfast to fix."

Harry waited until the heavy footfalls disappeared before he even dared get out of his cot.

He absentmindedly got dressed, his focus on a spider as it crawled it's way across the wooden floor. Getting dressed was an easy task since you couldn't really tell anymore which way his shirt was supposed to face. That tended to happen shortly after Dudley even put it on.

He couldn't help but stop for a minute and just watch the spider move. The eight-legged arachnid was free to go around and leave as it pleased. He couldn't help but envy the creature for that reason.

FOOD

Harry jumped slightly when a black tentacle-like appendage extended from his shoulder blade, quickly and efficiently grabbing the spider.

Harry stared in awe at the tentacle for a moment before his eyes wandered back to the spider. The small thing struggled for all it was worth, and before Harry could give it real thought, the spider was wriggling around in his mouth.

Without a second thought, Harry bit down, relishing at the taste and texture as the spider was crushed between his teeth.

It wasn't until he swallowed that Harry really thought about what he had actually done.

Feelings of disgust and horror that Harry had been expecting were not there, and truly, it didn't bother him one bit.

Maybe it was the Alien thing he was sharing a body with, or maybe it was just the fact he was done.

Or maybe it was both.

Harry watched the second-degree burn disappear not two minutes after he had received it.

Luckily, Aunt Petunia had left immediately after she held his arm on the stovetop burner for the second time in two days, or he would have had to deal with her thinking he was even more of a freak.

We are not a freak. We are perfect.

Harry smiled ruefully at the words as he piled eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast on three plates.

Why don't you make four plates? You need food too.

"Freaks don't get to eat," Harry murmured out of habit. The alien in his body sent out waves of offense, making Harry immediately correct himself. "They won't let me eat. They will beat me."

Venom would heal you. I wouldn't let you hurt for long.

"Thank you, Venom, but I would rather not get hurt in the first place." Harry finished his statement with the clank of a fork as he set the table from the Dursley family.
