29 (I.M)

After Jaebum told me how disappointed he was, I went to check on (Y/n). I went to the bathroom and knocked on the door before walking in slowly.
Me: Hey, Sis. How are you feeling? Is the water warm enough? Do you need any help?
I asked, hoping she wasn't asleep in the tub.
(Y/n): Yes the water is warm enough, I'm fine, no I don't need help. Now get out. I'm still mad at you.
She replied coldly. The sharpness in her tone stung a bit, but I guess I do deserve it. I did leave her alone. Not only did I leave her alone, I snapped at her and ditched her for some girl, only to forget about her. I'm a horrible brother. How could I do that? I left the bathroom and went into my room. After closing the door I leaned against it and slid down, my butt hitting the floor and my knees to my chest. I wrapped my arms around my knees and buried my head into the crevice. I just sat there in silence, thinking of ways I could get (Y/n) to forgive me. I just hope she doesn't get sick. After about 10 more minutes of this silent pity party, I heard my phone go off. I didn't want to go get it but I figured it might have been important. I slowly got up and walked to where my phone was. I picked it up and turned on the screen, the bright light blinding me slightly. It was only a message from Soo Hyun.
Soo Hyun: Hey! Why did I have to leave? Was it because of (Y/n) not being home? Is everything okay?
Me: Yeah. (Y/n)'s home now. Though she might not be able to come to school tomorrow. There's a chance she could have a cold in the morning.
Soo Hyun: Oh. Where was she?
Me: She went to visit an old friend. We were worried because it was late and she didn't come home or text anyone that she was going to be late.
Soo Hyun: Well if she gets a cold then it's her fault for being out so long.
I read that and got mad. I wasn't mad at her for saying it, I'm mad at myself because it would be my fault if she got sick. If I had just agreed to go with her we could have been home and she wouldn't be at risk for sickness. I just leave Soo Hyun on read and put my phone down. I heard the bathroom door open and footsteps walking across the hall before another door opened and closed. (Y/n) must be out of her bath. Jaebum was still in the kitchen making food for her.
Me: Hey, Jaebum! (Y/n)'s out of the bath. Is her food ready?
JB: Yeah. But I will be bringing it to her. I want you to leave her alone for a while. Just go finish your homework or whatever.
He put the food on a tray and made his way to our sister's room to bring her food. I went to my room and continued my pity party. How can I make this up to her if Jaebum doesn't want me around her for a while?
