Imani POV

It has been 2 weeks since i have seen Marquis. I was serious this time I was through with him. I was going to have this baby on my own and if he wanted to see her he could but if he doesnt want to see her I have no problem with that.

I was going to my doctors appointment today to see how Sariyah Was Doing. 

I had got my own apartment and I was living on my own. Me and honey had become close. She would come by like everyday. She was coming to my doctors appointment with me today.

I texted her "Goodmorning girlie, Meet me at the doctors office at 2:30" 

She texted me back 5 minutes later "K"

I got out of my bed and did my hygiene thing. 

I got in the shower for about 25 minutes.

I got out of the shower and walked into my closet to find something to wear.

I wore my Floral shirt with some ripped jeans and I added a flower band.

I walked out of my apartment and hooped in my car.

I stopped at the Mcdonalds and got some lunch, and I drove straight to the doctors office.

I walked in and signed my name. I sat in the waitig room and in walked Honey as soon as I sat down. 

"Hey Boo" She Said Sitting Down

"Hey Girl, How You Doing" I Said

"I Been Good" She Said 

She Was About 4 Weeks Pregnant But She Wasnt Showing Just Yet.

Me And  Honey Were Sitting In The Waiting Room Talking. I Heard The Doctors Office Door Open. I Looked Up To See Who Had Walked In And Guess Who It Was ?

I Looked At Honey And She Looked At Me 

"What Is He Doing Here" I Said

"Girl I Dont Know, Did He Know You Had A Dr.s Appointement Today" She Said Looking At Me With A Confused Look

"Nah, I Aint Tell Him I Did"

He Walked Over To Us 

"Hey Imani, Can We Talk" He Said With A Sympathetic Look On His Face

"About?" I Said With An Attitude 

"Us" He Said

"Nah Man, Aint No Us No More" I Said Looking At Him 

"Imani Im Sorry For What I Did To You" He Said Sitting In The Chair Next To Me

He Tried To Reach For My Hand But I Snatched It Back

"So Its Like That" He Said 

"Yeah, What You Mean "Its Like That?" I Said Looking At Him With A Attitude

"Can I Go In With You" He Said

"Yeah Whatever Its Your Daughter Too"

The Doctor Finally Came Out 

"I'll Stay Out Here And Wait" Honey Said 

"Ok Girl" I Said 

"Wish Me Luck" I Mouthed To Her 

Me And Marquis Got Up And Walked Towards The Doctor. We Went In The Room.

About 30 Minutes Later We Walked Back Out.

The Doctor Said Everything Was Fine With The Baby.  

Honey Looked At Us And Got Up. We All Walked Out Of The Door And Marquis Walked To His Car .

"How'd It Go" Honey Said

"It Was Good, But It Was Awkward" I Said 

Honey Laughed. 

"Shopping" Honey Said 

"Yeah Girl, Meet Me At Lenox" I Said

We Walked To Our Seperate Cars . Honey Drove Off First.

I Grabbed My Phone Out Of My Purse And Saw There Was A Text Message From An Unkwown Number 

"I Love You Imani" 

I Already Knew Who It Was. I Ignored It And Pulled Out The Parking Lot On My Way To Lenox

After The Mall I Went Straight Home And Went To Sleep 

Marquis POV 

I Was At The Tap With My Boys And We Was About To Get Ready To Go Out And Do A Job. While Cartier Was At My Moms House For The Night

"Yall Boys Strapped And Ready" I Asked

"Yeah Man" Everybody Said In Unison

We All Loaded Up In he Black Van And Black Escalade.

We Drove To Our Rivals Warehouse 

"Aye Yall 2 Go Watch The Back And Imma Go Through The Front" I Said To My Boys

They Ran Around To The Back Of The Warehouse 

I Walked Up To The Door And Kicked It In.

People Started Shooting And Girls Started Running. I Was Shooting People Left And Right. I Got Through The Front Part Of The Warehouse. There Was Bodies Everywhere

I Ran To The Back And Let My Boys In. We Ran Down The Hallway To Where The Main Room Was Where We Was About To Take Down The King Pin Of This Warehouse .

We Kicked Down The Door And About Five Men Started Shooting At Us. I Tried To Fire Back But Befor I Could I Felt A Sharp Pain In My Chest And In My Stomach

I Fell To The Ground And Called For One Of My Boys To Come And Help Me.

I Heard Police And Ambulance Sirens Getting Closer But I Blacked Out.

Imani POV 

It was about 4'Oclock In The Morning And My Phone Started Ringing. It Was An Unknown Number 

"Hello?" 

 "Hello Is This Imani" The Voice Said

The Voice On The Other Line Sounded So Familiar

"Hey, This Sadique, Marquis Just Got Shot" She Said Sniffling

"What Hospital?" I Said Getting Out Of The Bed Rushing To Put Some Clothes On

 "Grady" She Replied

"Alright Im On My Way"
