Opening my eyes I try to adjust my vision to the lighting. Blinking a few times the blurriness clears up and I notice I'm in a very blank room. Glancing down I see I'm in green baggy pants and a white T-shirt. The sign on the middle makes me confuse...

3rd Person's POV
The driver in the Sedan takes the two back to the small house where this all began. As the car stops outside the white picketed fence, Steve looks over at Sammie. This is the third person she had lost who was very important to her. Although she carried herself and seemed as if she was okay.
"Hey Sammie thanks for rooting for me back there."
"No problem Steve. I know you can do great things. You have the heart and the mindset. You just need a chance."
She smiles at him then glances at the house with a frown, "He believed in you too so don't give up now."
"I'm sorry about what happened. If I was a little bit faster I could've saved him too..."
"He knew this day would come. He knew the enemy would try to steal the serum. He knew what he was putting himself into it. But he knew that risking it for you was the right choice. So don't feel sorry that he died. I'm not... I just miss him."
Steve nods.
Feeling a grip, Sammie looks down to see Steve holding her hand. She leans over and kisses Steve on the cheek making his face tinge pink.
"Thank you. I'm gonna go get a few things and make sure he didn't leave me anything about the project. I'll only be a few minutes."
"Alright I'll be here. Just yell if you need me."
Steve opens his car door then helps Sammie out the Sedan. He leans against the car watching Sammie disappear into the house. As he waits, he looks down the street at the quiet neighborhood, wondering how in the world he ended up here.
Sammie walks into the familiar house and is instantly taken back by the memories that flood her brain. A single tear falls down her face. She sighs, wipes it, then heads to the room Erskine made for her.
Walking inside the ocean blue room, she looks at all the photos and the letters from her dad back when she went to college. She smiles sadly and packs everything into a duffle bag.
