Opening my eyes I try to adjust my vision to the lighting. Blinking a few times the blurriness clears up and I notice I'm in a very blank room. Glancing down I see I'm in green baggy pants and a white T-shirt. The sign on the middle makes me confuse...

3rd Person's POV
Maria Hill escorts the group through the secret facility as a man runs up to Sammie, "GSW. She's lost at least a pint."
Sam frowns looking at how pale she has gotten, "Maybe two."
The doctor frowns as he looks at her bloody shoulder, "Let me take her."
Maria shakes her head, "She'll want to see him first."
Hill takes them to Fury who's alive and lying in bed, the group looks at him in shock.
"About damn time."
Later as Sammie's wound is being treated, the group listens to all the things wrong with Fury.
"Lacerated spinal column, cracked sternum, shattered collarbone, perforated liver, one hell of a headache."
Doctor, "Don't forget your collapsed lung."
"Oh, let's not forget that. Otherwise, I'm good." Nick says sarcastically.
Natasha sighs, "They cut you open, your heart stopped."
"Tetrodotoxin B. Slows the pulse to one beat a minute. Banner developed it for stress. Didn't work so great for him, but we found a use for it."
Steve frowns, "Why all the secrecy? Why not just tell us?"
"Any attempt on the director's life had to look successful." Maria says as she stands by Fury.
"Can't kill you if you're already dead. Besides, I wasn't sure who to trust."
Fury looks at a photo of Pierce, "This man declined the Nobel Peace Prize. He said, 'Peace wasn't an achievement, it was a responsibility.' See, it's stuff like this that gives me trust issues."
"We have to stop the launch." Natasha says confidently.
"I don't think the Council's accepting my calls anymore." Fury opens a case containing three chips]
"What's that?" Sam asks leaning over to see better.
Maria rolls her eyes as she explains, "Once the Helicarriers reach three thousand feet, they'll triangulate with Insight satellites becoming fully weaponized. We need to breach those carriers and replace their targeting blades with our own. One or two won't cut it. We need to link all three carriers for this to work, because if even one of those ships remains operational a whole lot of people are gonna die."
Nick cuts in, "We have to assume everyone aboard those carriers is HYDRA. We need to get pass them, insert the server blades, and maybe, just maybe, we can salvage what's left..."
Steve shakes his head, "We're not salvaging anything. We're not just taking down the carriers, Nick, we're taking down SHIELD. You gave me this mission, this is how it ends. SHIELD's been compromised, you said so yourself. HYDRA grew right under your nose and nobody noticed. SHIELD, HYDRA, it all goes."
