Sharlene's POV

Nang napagod na ako sa pagbubunot dun sa damuhan ay humiga na lang ako dun at pinikit ang mata ko.

Haaaaaay.... Bahala na nga.... Matulog na muna kaya ako? Wala pa naman si Mom eh..... Sana wag ng dumating yun!

At dahil nga nakakaramdam na ako ng antok unti unti na akong nakakatulog ng-- "Gail! What are you doing?"

Napabangon naman agad ako at nanlaki ang mata ko ng makita ko kung sino yun!

"M-mom?"

Pinatayo naman ako ni Mom and she looked at me frowning. "Just what are you doing? Bakit ka nakahiga dyan ha? Di mo ba alam na madumi dyan at madudumihan ang uniform mo?!"

Hindi ako makasagot at nakatingin lang kay Mom. Patay.... She's here. And I don't have any boyfriend na maipakikilala sa kanya na kasing tino ng sinabi ko sa kanya.

She raised her right eyebrow to me at nakapameywang pa! "What? You can't say anything now huh? And why are you even here? Don't tell me you're skipping classes now!"

I just sighed. "Mom, I'm not skipping classes. We don't have anything to do now so I went here to breathe some fresh air."

"Wow ha. Kaya naman pala wala ka sa room nyo eh. Well, atleast I know you're not lying dahil nakita ko ngang nagkakagulo lang sa classroom nyo."

I nodded. Sana nakalimutan nya na yung pinunta nya rito.... "Anak, so....... can I meet your boyfriend now?" she smiled sweetly at me.

"Uhmmmm.... A-ano kasi Mom..... Uhhh....."

"Now what? Where is he? I have much more important things to do okay? So let's make this fast."

"Uhmmm.... Mom? I forgot to inform him about this matter so he's not here. I'm sorry Mom.... So.... I guess you can leave now! You need to do some other IMPORTANT things right? Go on Mom! Sorry for the inconvenience! You can go meet him, next time!" I smiled widely at her while my knees are trembling.

Sana gumana....sana gumana....

"What? Hindi yan puwede anak! I wasted my time going here to your school so hindi mo pwedeng idahilan sakin yan! So where is he na ba ha?" she stared at me like a dragon.

I just looked down. I'm soooooo dead right now.

"So.............. I guess you're lying after all, right? Ok. Then its settled. Ikakasal ka na talaga whether you like it or not." then nagsimula ng maglakad si Mom.

I hold on tightly to her hand naman and pleaded. "No Mom! You can't do this to me?! Please don't! I promise I have a boyfriend! He's just not here now because I forgot to inform him!"

"Whatever Gail. Stop with the lying. I kno--" natigil naman si Mom ng may tumawag sakin kaya lumingon din ako.

"Gail!!!" I looked at him. "Darren?"

"And who is he huh?" Mom said.

"Gail! I've been looking everywhere for you! Nag-aalala ako alam mo ba? Akala ko kung saan ka na nagpunta! Buti na lang wala tayong ginagawa ngayon kaya nasundan kita!" napahawak naman sya sa tuhod nya at hingal na hingal.

He's looking for me? I blushed because of what he just said. Nag-aalala daw sya sakin.... He's looking for me everywhere. Muntik ko na ngang malimutang nandito si Mom eh kung hindi lang nagsalita.

"Ehemm."

Tumingin naman si Darren kay Mom at nakipagkamay. "Hello po. Mom po ba kayo ni Gail? I'm Darren po her frie--" And suddenly, may idea na nagpop-out sa utak ko kaya hinawakan ko bigla ang kamay ni Darren kaya natigil siya sa pagsasalita and I said.

" Boyfriend. He's my Boyfriend."
